Used this in a facial toner love the aromas, light lemongrass like scent with a touch of petitgrain. Additionally love the fact that it can replace lemon without the worries of photo toxicity.

This is a GREAT oil! First, I love it because even though it has tea tree's properties, it has a lemony smell. Of course, you can smell the tea tree medicinal scent through the lemony smell, so I wouldn't use this for perfume, but the therapeutic qualities are great! I use it in oily skin and hair preparations. I even put a drop into water I use to clean my girl parts (because tea tree oil is used as a natural alternative to antibiotics for things like yeast infections and bacterial vaginosis), and it seems to really help prevent me getting those infections, which had been a big problem in the past. In addition, I have SUPER sensitive skin, and the skin / mucous membranes down there tend to be particularly sensitive in most people, yet this lemon tea tree oil didn't irritate my skin at all, even when I put it undiluted on a pimple. This is a marvelous oil to have around for a variety of uses, particularly considering how super inexpensive it is!

This smells like a lemon drop to me. Really like the smell. Faint tea tree undertones, but you really have to search for it. Will have fun using it.

This smells a bit like lemongrass, only not as Earthy. A wonderful, light and pleasing scent--not at all medicinal as I expected. Will definately have fun working with this

I love this oil and use it all the time. It has a refreshing scent which enables it to be used in a number of different applications - particularly those with citrus fruits. Its smell is different than Tea Tree, yet the benefits of Tea Tree are present - a wonderful essential oil and one of the most widely used. I've found it to be refreshing, uplifting, and a wonderful deodorizer. I use it in cleansers, anti-bacterial sprays, facial applications, and for burns. I'm very pleased with the scent and the oil's versatility.

Contrary to what the previous reviewer found when using this oil, I do not think the product smelled like furniture polish. That said, when using this oil in high concentrations or neet it elicits a very strong odor, similar to that of lemon eucalyptus. It wonderfully balances some of the other oils that are known to have an antibacterial effect such as thyme, rosemary, eucalyptus, all of which are strong and not very pleasant to work with when cleaning or creating antibacterial bath products. In fact, I liked it so much, I purchased a larger bottle so I could continue to use it either on its own or with some of my other antibacterial blends.

Happily, I bought this oil for the therapeutic benefits rather than the scent. It smells like furniture polish! The lemon smell isn't sharp, just mildly citrusy, and the camphorous smell seems to be mellowed by the citrus. It's less camphorous than regular tea tree and seems to have the same anti-microbial benefits. I have found it to be useful for those with cold sores and achne. I would also say that, contrary to the NDA description of this product's uses, it does not seem to have any sedative properties - the fragrance notes are too bright and too strong for that. Nor have I tried this for rheumatic complaints, as there are so many other great oils out there that meet that need. (That is not to say that this wouldn't work for rheumatic complaints, I've just seen no need to try it). I would recommend this to those who love the medicinal benefits of traditional tea tree oil, but hate the smell.

I purchased a tiny tester bottle of this since I really wasn't sure what to expect. I will be buying more of this. It reminds me a bit of citronella, a bit of lemongrass, and definitely tea tree oil. It is an invigorating scent that I think would work well in insect repellents.
