Description: Native to Brazil, Tucuma butter is cold pressed from the seed of the native Tucuma palm tree.
Appearance: Creamy yellow to white solid.
Common Uses: Tucuma butter is rich in lauric, myristic and oleic acids, and is considered to have excellent emollient and skin softening properties. High in vitamin A, the antioxidant properties in this exotic Amazonian butter help to keep the skin soft, smooth and nourished.
Tucuma butter exhibits good spread-ability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or body balm, and it can be added to soaps, creams, lotions, body butters, conditioners, masks and more. It can also be used in hair care products for added conditioning and shine.
Shelf Life: Ucuuba butter has a shelf-life of approximately 1 - 2 years and should be stored in a cool dark place.
