Melt and Pour soap hardener

I've bought organic NDA's M&P soap base and I a disappointed: it's too soft, doesn't last long and also doesn't lather very well... What can I use as a soap hardener? I have vegetable stearic for candle making, I don't know if I can use that or the stearic for soaping is different? Plus, I've heard some people could react to this product... How about beeswax? I have no clue of the proportion of stearic and beeswax.

You could try Sodium Lactate (http://www.newdirectionsaromatics.com/so...1813.html)

I'm not sure how it would work with M&P but perhaps you can try with a very small quantity?

Sodium lactate only works for CP soap. it won't harden MP.

Thank you very much, Soapbuddy, it's good to know! All right, will use it for my CP when I'll be ready and for my liquid shampoos. Had to wait, was out of order, just saw tonight that it's back again!
