Description: Maqui Berry Oil is derived from the seeds of the deep purple Maqui Berry, also called the Chilean Wineberry. This fruit – or “superfood” – is indigenous to Chile and continues to be used by local tribes for its reputed ability to facilitate the healing of illnesses and abrasions. Rich in potent fat-soluble antioxidants, this nourishing natural oil has come to be thought of as “miraculous,” offering outstanding, luxurious hydration to the skin and hair. Maqui Berry Oil is known to have cleansing properties and to alleviate and protect against dryness or cracking caused by environmental factors, making it ideal for imparting a soft, velvety feel on rough or flaking skin. Its emollience not only lubricates and smoothes but it also conditions and fortifies to enhance the skin’s radiance and thereby promote a more youthful look.

Common Uses: Maqui Berry Carrier Oil can be applied directly to the skin, scalp, and strands, or it can be incorporated into natural formulations for moisturizing and cleansing cosmetics meant for use on the face, body, or hair. Maqui Berry Oil is gentle enough for daily use.

Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.
Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.
