Also Known as Himalayan Rock Salt, this salt is hand-mined and harvested from ancient salt beds, deep under the Himalayan Mountains.
Rich in over 80 minerals and trace elements, some of the most notable being calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron, this salt is considered to be the purest form of salt available.
For therapeutic purposes, the Himalayan can be used in baths to relax the body, stimulate circulation, sooth sore muscles, and remove toxins. It is reputed to assist with relief from arthritis, skin rashes, wounds, and flu and fever symptoms.
Therapeutic Bath Recipe:
Dissolve 2 cups of salt in bath. Soak for no more than 20 minutes as this mixture will refresh and rejuvenate the body.
Facial Steam Recipe:
For treating respiratory ailments, asthma or bronchitis, boil 2 cups water, add salt to water, cover your head with a towel to create a “tent”, and inhale the vapors for 10-15 minutes.

I mixed them with the other salts and some EO's to make two different sets of baths salts-some dry and some with added olive oil. My mom took a bath with the salts and said that it was fan-freaking-tastic lol. She said she could feel the soreness, stiffness and tiredness being pulled right out of her body. Will def be adding these to my arsenal.

A very beautiful salt! I use this alone, add with sea salt or even add it to my soaps. My soaps seem to be a big hit, I just add a little natural pink color to the soap and they turn out beautiful.

Beautiful salt, and mixes amazingly well with EOs. Threw some lavender and clary sage EOs in a large bowl with the salt and mixed it around with my hands for a deeply relaxing bath soak!

This is the most beautiful salt I have ever seen! The colors range from clear (majority of batch), flesh pink to a dark pink. The pieces mostly are round and irregular in shape, however, there are some pieces that look like quartz crystal stone. Slower to dissolve than Dead Sea Mineral Salt.
