Moisturizer Base - Paraben Free
Description: Our Cosmetic Bases are specifically formulated to be extremely robust. Essential Oils, Fragrant Oils, Botanical Extracts and various Raw Materials can be added in order to customize each product. Within minutes, even a hobbyist can produce an upscale, high quality product that has been personalized to their preference. We have also made every effort to produce the most natural based products possible.
Please Note: As with any manufacturing process, New Directions Aromatics encourages small, lab scale manufacturing for evaluation purposes prior to full commercial manufacturing.
We recommend that no more than 0.5% of any essential oil be added to our cosmetic bases. Exceeding this amount may destabilize bonds between the ingredients. Over time this may cause our bases to lose some of their luxurious properties including viscosity, smooth feel and rate of absorption.
Drum Orders:
• Price is FOB from our warehouse. UPS does not ship drums so shipping charges will be calculated in house with another courier or customers can request their preferred courier.
• Price includes bulk open head drum with plastic liner.
• A lead time of 3 weeks is needed in order to fill a drum order.
• A non-refundable 50% deposit is required.

This moisturizer is excellent! I just added my favourite essential oil - 5% of the weight and I have a favourite moisturizer! There is no sticky residue and my skin feels soft and silky.

Absolutely THE preferred product with which to create fully custom lotion products. Takes fragrances nicely, nice texture for lotion, moisturizes well, takes colors evenly. What more can I say about it? It is my lotion base of choice!

Hands down, this is the best moisturizer I have ever tried. It goes on a little thick, but disperses well, absorbes quickly, and doesn't leave your hands greasy. It takes fragrance oils very well, with about 24-48 hours curing time, and doesn't have a chemical under-smell. I've tried lotions from other online retailers, but I will continue to use only New Directions for my moisturizers.

Another Great product. I made some face moisturizer for my mom, sister and of course myself and we absolutley LOVE this!!!!! Our faces do not feel greasy and we all have this radient glow : ) Thanks ND for another awesome product. : )

Of all products NDA carries, this one seems to puzzle me the most. One the one hand, it's works so well as a moisturizer; it's light, it's silky smooth, and it penetrates into the skin quickly. But on the other hand, there is this faint chemical smelling scent. I wonder if NDA can try to improve their formula a bit so when it's unscented, it would smell more natural? Thanks!

I make specialized moisturizers with essential oils and have found that this is the best base. It's not too oily, it absorbs nicely into the skin and everyone loves it. Great products at affordable prices.
