Pumpkin Seed Butter is obtained by the cold pressing selected fruits followed by a full refining process. The resulting butter is rich in vitamins A, E & C, fatty acids and antioxidants.

Common Uses: Pumpkin Seed Butter is perfect for rejuvenating and revitalizing dried and damaged skin. Very soft in consistency, it exhibits good spread-ability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or body balm, and it can be added to soap, creams, lotions, lip balms, body butters, hair pomades and more.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 2 - 20 %
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 3 - 12 %
• Hair Conditioners: 1 – 5 %

When adding butters to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.

Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of approximately 1 - 2 years when stored properly.

Very smooth consistency, silky texture, and very little odor despite what another reviewer said. Hardly any "smell" at all. I use it straight under my eyes and mixed with shea butter in my face creams. A little bit goes a long way.

I really like this butter. It's a pretty orange shade and has a light scent.It's very creamy but needs to be whipped longer to really make it smooth.I add this in my new hair cream. My customers love it! Used on the skin it's non-greasy and leaves the skin soft/moisturized all day.My new favorite butter. So glad I can buy all my butters in one place.

I've been using this every night on my neck and under my eyes for 3 evenings. Today my daughter told me she noticed my skin under my eyes had no bags and the darkness was gone. Love it straight out of the jar!!!!!!

I found this butter to be very creamy, not gritty and has a very natural color - yellow-green tinged, kind of like straw. It does have an extremely strong smell of pumpkin seed, but when I blended it with other butters and fragrance it was imperceptible.

I really love this butter. I didn't find it at all clumpy, either. It's very soft, has very little natural odor at all and is a slight creamy orange shade. Like a creamsicle kind of color. It can be used straight from the jar - which is what I find myself doing most often - or mixed with other butters and carrier oils to really moisturize the skin. Have used it on patches where I have contact dermatitis, as well as on my neck and under the eyes before going to bed. Really nice butter.

Wow this is a beautiful butter. I used it at 10% in my CP soap. It has a wonderful feel to it, a beautiful natural colour. I believe it is now one of my favourites and pumkin has so many beneficial properties.

It is a nice emolient. I, however, will not order this one again. It has a nauseating rancid smell and a gritty texture that I just don't like to work with dispite its acceptable performance within the finished product.

I must be honest, I'm not feeling the consistency of this butter. It's really gritty. However, once I rub it into my skin...it leaves my skin soft all day long.
