Vitamin C is a highly popular anti-oxidant and is a required component in the production of collagen, the tissue responsible for skin suppleness. Vitamin C has also been shown to help slow the production of age spots while providing some UV protection. It is widely used in many skincare applications.

Dissolved 1g of vitamin C powder (1/2g for sensitive skin type) into 10ml of distilled water, then I apply it to the whole face, including eye areas, during the day and at night, I found that it really can prevent age-spots from growing rapidly, firms the skin immediately, and clear uneven skin tones. A great multi-benefit whitening toner (water). Great price, an easy to use!! Great value!!

While it's interesting to read other comments, they never sway my own opinion. I thought NDA provided a very potent VITAMIN C powder that easily dispersed in liquids, and would highly recommend to all. Sometimes it can be confusing with so many raw materials, perhaps the "recipe", formula, or application is in need of assistance from an expert. I commend New Directions on many levels, and have never confused the packaging of essential oil with carrier oils. Thank you to the entire staff at NDA

I don't know about others but I have bad experiences. I just received my order last Friday and found this V C powder is much less refined and soft as the one sold in Philosophy. There's no way I can mix it with any facial creams or oils and put it on my face, too scratchy!! Then I called today (Monday) and asked if I can return it. NO, they said I can't once I open it! But, for customers, if one does not open it and have a look and feel, how does one will know?? Comparing to many other cosmetic brands, Saffronrouge (another essential oil dealer) or Costco, this is HORRIBLE customer service!!! And, their essential oils comes in w PLASTIC bottles!!! If one reads any book or buying guidelines on essential oils, one knows that essential oils should be stored and contained in dark colored glass bottles!!! I guess you guys only put good reviews on your website to mislead many buyers since I didn't see any bad review on the website! So misleading!! Personally, I'll never never buy from this company any any more!

New Directions Aromatics Response:

The Vitamin C we carry is USP grade (United States Pharmacopeia). While we have not had a single other complaint about this product, we would have accepted back the product had it not been used. This was not mentioned in the customer’s feedback.

Regarding our Essential Oils, they are packed in amber glass bottles up to the 100ml / 3.3 Fl Oz size, and sizes above that are sold in specially coated Aluminum containers. You cannot have operations around the world and sell to Medical Practices, Aromatherapy Schools, and large scale Manufacturers without understanding how oils are to be packaged, and how they are to be sold.

We have never packaged Essential Oils in plastic containers.

Lastly, we post all responses – even the negative and those without merit. We are proud of our quality, and this is reflected in feedback on our products and on our company. While we regret that this customer finds us misleading, accepting back used product is not an option for us.

Great Vitamin C powder that is fine enough to dissolve easily in liquid mixtures to add to soap and skin care products.
