Description: This is a deciduous Eurasian shrub that is found in various parts of the world. It is easily distinguished at all seasons by the strong perfume of its buds and leaves. This shrub shows the only instance of a process by which double flowers may become single, by changing petals into stamina. It has a solitary, one-flowered peduncle at the base of the raceme, and its leaves are dotted underneath.
Color: Clear pale yellow to golden yellow liquid.
Aromatic Description: Black Current Seed Carrier Oil has a strong, heavy, oily scent.
Common Uses: Black Currant Seed Carrier Oil is believed to be very rich in antioxidants and gamma-linolenic acid, which makes it a highly effective soothing agent. Studies have shown it to be a good treatment for rheumatoid arthritis. This oil is said to increase elasticity in the skin, and can be used to protect and nourish skin tissues preventing chronic skin conditions such as dermatitis and eczema. It can also be used to slow premature aging. Black Currant Seed Oil can be added to skin preparations and cosmetics such as face creams, moisturizers and body lotions. It is often combined with Vitamin E to prevent oxidation.

Rating: Rec'd my order 5/17/2018 and I am beyond pleased! I couldn't wait to try this Black Currant Seed Oil and mixed it into my new "small" batch of Pumpkin/Geranium Facial Serum and it was honestly like MAGIC broke out - I'm not kidding, all the fine lined around my eyes and forehead disappeared while I was massaging into my skin. I have to also note that it surely didn't hurt to add in such a pleasant fragrance also. I really wish I had ordered a larger size than this sample, but on my next order, I surely will.
I have a feeling the Black Currant Seed added into my homemade body lotions and butters will have the same effect.
Yes, I also made a sample size of body lotion last evening too and my skin has never looked better.

Rating: I've been using this oil in combination with argan oil on my face for almost two weeks now and I can't tell you how much better my skin feels and looks. I won't buy any more moisturizer after this combo. I have beginning rosacea- just redness so far- and this combo has really reduced the blushed look. I even forgo the foundation I used to use to cover it up. No breakouts either with just using oils on my face. The black current seed does have a bit of a scent, but it doesn't bother me. I will probably add some EOs that reduce capillaries to enhance these oils. Great product and price. Saved me lots of money on commercial face treatments in the future! More $ to buy goodies from NDA!
Rating: I tried a sample size to see if I liked this oil. And after 3 days, I LOVE this oil and am ordering more!!! This oil works GREAT as an anti-inflamatory, anti-spasmatic, and is unbelievably nurturing to the skin. It does have a slightly buttery, nutty, woody smell to the oil, but if applied to the feet or low back during the day - or even the neck and upper back, it would do WONDERS for pain relief. I have mixed it with vitiver and petigrain and the healing properties are AMAZING!!!!!!

Rating: This oil is fantastic. Have added it to my normal facial blend and have already noticed a reduction in fine lines and people have commented on my dewy glow. A little bit goes a long way. I highly recommend it. No noticable scent and absorbs well.

Rating: This oil has no unpleasant odor, is light yet luxurious, and does not leave a greasy feel on the skin. I use it in my base skin care blend and in massage oils. I will not make any health claims, but it has done me much good.
Rating: This oil is wonderful: such a "healthy" addition to almost any formula, and so easily absorbed. There really isn't a detectable aroma, but it is "yummy" smooth anyway. I should have bought a large quantity because it may become one of my staples. Once again NDA always seems to provide a wide array of versatility.
