I haven't tried this yet, but I'm really looking forward to trying it. The first thing that came to mind when I took my first whiff was the word "BRIGHT". It has a lovely aroma and from what I'm reading, a lot of benefits. Can't wait to try it in a room and linen spray and in an anti-fungal blend.

very strong, use with caution, for both smell and safety, a little goes a very long way and it can easily dominate a blend. It smells like herbal orange flowers and its not necessarily that pleasant

I love the many quadruple skin benefits of this essential oil. I use it diluted with Olive Pomace Oil, Olive Squalane, Pumpkin Seed Oil, USP Grade Glycerin & Baobab Oil & then apply to my entire forehead at least 4 to 5 days a week after cleansing for the many skin benefits that this essential oil has to offer shown below. I have adult acne & itchy skin that feels like there's millions of microscopic skin mites crawling on my face. This essential oil helps me out 85 to 90% when I apply it to my forehead area. Best essential oil I have found yet & with the most skin relieving benefits that I have come across.

(Tagetes is renown for its potent antifungal properties, helping to heal and close weeping wounds. It is also used to relax sore muscles and is an effective insect repellent.) (Tagetes essential oil is antispasmodic, bactericidal, carminative, diaphoretic, emmenagogue, fungicidal, stomachic, antioxidant, antifungal, vulnerary, and antidepressant.)

Note: The scent of this essential oil changes as it is exposed to the air. After I apply this essential oil diluted on my forehead area in a closed up room & come back later, I can smell what smells like a very sweet Grassy Honey like tone in the air from using the Tagetes Essential Oil in that room. The very sweet Grassy Honey like tone in the air is even more noticeable too when there is or has been a windows open in the room where the Tagetes Essential Oil was last used for whatever.

Very strange I consider that this essential oil can & does have very sweet Grassy Honey like tones in it once exposed to air but that you cannot smell directly inside the Tagetes essential oil bottle. The sweet smell of honey from it does bug me a little because it smells too sweet but may be a big like to others who don't mind.

This oil if often not bought for its fragrance but is slighty citrus smelling and excellent in fighting flus and chest infections. A powerful oil to be used sparingly, it will last a long time in your collection of essential oils. Good in difusers for coughs, bronchitis etc. and also very good blended with an oil such as almond for the treatment of wounds (not open) and chest infections. An extremely useful beneficial oil, one that will come in handy in times of sickness.

Tagetes (marigold french) - has a very nice aroma: warm, herbaceous and powerful, with a somewhat harsh and bitter note. Lovely if used properly and this one is a gem, beautiful color! It's properties: should be used by experienced aromatherapists and in small amounts for a limited range of applications onlyand use in low concentration only. This French Marigold Oil is not a Calendula Oil and may actually be harmful to the human organism if ingested. The essential oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier before applying to the skin. May be extremely toxic. Use in moderation for bruises, bunions, burns, calluses, Candida, corns, cuts, eczema, fly repellent, fungal infections, inflammations, insect bites, rashes, sore muscles, sprains, warts, wounds. (Also known as Calendula Oil, Marigold, Mexican Marigold, Taget, Tagetes glandulifera, Tagette.) Often confused with True Calendula Oil. Do not use if pregnant.
