Turmeric Essential Oil is a golden elixir harnessed from the depths of a perennial plant's vibrant roots. The Turmeric plant, scientifically known as Curcuma longa, possesses a deep orange interior and can grow roots up to 2 feet long. Turmeric has a storied history steeped in beauty, wellness, and culinary traditions. Renowned for its cleansing, clarifying, nourishing, and smoothing properties, Turmeric Essential Oil has been in very wide use by women for skin care, and well known globally as a cooking spice. It has also been used as a mild colouring agent in cold-processed soaps.
Facial Serum: Add 2-3 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil to your favorite carrier oil, such as rosehip or jojoba oil. Apply a small amount to your face and neck, and gently massage it in.
Face Mask: Mix 1-2 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil with a tablespoon of honey or yogurt. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off.
Scalp Massage: Dilute 2-3 drops of Turmeric Essential Oil with a tablespoon of your favorite carrier oil. Massage the mixture into your scalp for a few minutes and leave it on for 30 minutes before shampooing.
For Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of turmeric essential oil to a diffuser to enjoy its warm and woody aroma.
Rejuvenating Massage: Dilute turmeric essential oil with a carrier oil at a ratio of 1-2% before applying to the skin. Gently massage the diluted oil onto the affected area to help alleviate muscle discomfort and promote relaxation.

A base note with a medium aroma, Turmeric Essential Oil has the same fragrant woody scent as the powdered spice used in Eastern cuisine.

Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
