Preservatives

Preservatives help to control the growth of bacteria and fungi in a product, which may be introduced into skin care products by different means such as spores in the air, or simply by touching the product. Preservatives prolong the life of skin care products and render them safe for use on an ongoing basis. All water-based aromatherapy and cosmetic products, lotions and creams require the addition of a full spectrum preservative.
