DESCRIPTION

Menthol Crystals put the spark in sparkle, livening up beauty formulations with an invigorating essence. These colorless, transparent crystals exude a sharp, minty scent, and a cooling effect ideal for diverse applications. Menthol Crystals are obtained by crystallizing Mentha Arvensis (Peppermint Japanese) Essential Oil. The recommended usage level is 0.5–8%, and can be added to perfumes, cosmetics, balms, lotions, creams, shampoos, and conditioners.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

• Multi-use Menthol: Add Menthol Crystals’ cooling sensation to a variety of cosmetic products. 0.5–8% is generally recommended, depending on the desired scent and effects. A patch test is always recommended before use.
• Vapour Rub: Massage a small amount onto the bottoms of your feet or a dime-sized amount onto your forehead for a cooling and soothing sensation. A patch test is always recommended before use. 
• Cooling Scrub: To create a refreshing, exfoliating scrub, grind 1 tsp Menthol Crystals until fine, then mix with ½ cup Fine Sea Salt and 1 tbsp Papaya Powder Fruit Extract in a bowl. Add 45 ml of carrier oil, like Jojoba or Coconut, and blend thoroughly. Mix in ½ tsp of sweet-smelling fragrance or essential oil. Apply a small amount to dry, dull, or flaky skin, avoiding sensitive areas. Use promptly and store in a 120 g (4 oz) jar for best results.

Color/Consistency:

Colorless to pale yellow translucent crystals. In their natural state at room temperature, Menthol Crystals appear to be colorless or white, solid but small, brittle, satiny crystalline matter with a waxy texture.

Aromatic Description:
