DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE
Melting: Begin by cutting the Syndopour Shampoo Base into small, uniform pieces for even melting. Use a double boiler or microwave to carefully melt the base, ensuring it stays between 140°F and 180°F to avoid overheating.
Customizing Your Bars: Once fully melted, add your preferred essential oils or fragrance oils at 1%-2% of the total formulation. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution. This is also the stage when you can add hair-safe colorants, botanical extracts, or conditioning agents for enhanced benefits.
Pouring into Molds: After mixing in your desired additives, carefully pour the melted shampoo base into your molds. Silicone molds are recommended for easy removal once the bars have solidified.
Cooling and Unmolding: Allow the bars to cool and harden completely before removing them from the molds. This process can take several hours depending on the size of the molds.
Storage: To preserve the quality of your shampoo bars, store them in a cool, dry place. Ensure they are fully wrapped or sealed to prevent moisture loss and shrinking.
Important Note: When working with Melt & Pour bases, the water content in the formula may evaporate if the bars are left exposed to the air. To prevent shrinkage, fully wrap the shampoo bars as soon as they are cool and firm.
Safety Precautions: Handle hot soap with care. Use appropriate protective gear, including heat-resistant gloves, when working with melted soap base. Ensure proper ventilation when melting and adding fragrance oils.
