Botanical Name: Ricinus communis

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Castor Carrier Oil is one of the few oils that can be used as an emulsifying agent. It also acts as a protective barrier on your skin that will protect against harsh environmental conditions.

Color: Pale yellow to golden yellow liquid.

Aromatic Description: Castor Carrier Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.

Common Uses: Castor Carrier Oil is used in massage therapy, aromatherapy, and in manufacturing (particularly as a conditioning agent in hair care products).

Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.

Absorption: By design, Castor Oil will remain on the surface of the skin, acting as a barrier.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 1 to 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

A superior carrier oil at a great price. The colour varies from a very pale yellow to a more golden colour. Won't make soap without it. Also use it in my lip butters. Won't purchase it anywhere else!

Castor oil is my staple carrior oil. Its great for general skincare products from soap to body massage oils. I've recently been making lip gloss with it. It super on its own or is best mixed with other raw ingredients if you want to combine it with other theraputic benefits.

Best price anywhere! I use castor in my cp soaps and shampoo bars. I recently ran out of castor when making shampoo bars and had to run to the health food store for more. $6 for eight ounces! From now on I'm going to be stocking up on NDA's castor so I never run out.

Good castor oil at a great price! It doesn't smell too strong and the color isn't too dark (it's a golden oil). I use it in soap, cleansing oil, and lip balms. Awesome in shaving soaps too!

I use castor oil for making my cold process soap and liquid soap. castor oil acts as a humectant by attracting and retaining mosture to the skin. also, I added castor oil for my shampoo making. I make liquid soap for my hair. I combine coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter, hemp seed oil and jojoba oil for make my liquid hair soap and it works amazing ! good qulity and reasonable price !
