Description: Eucalyptus Dives is a small tree native to the temperate, dry woodlands and forest of south-eastern Australia but is also cultivated in Central and South Africa. The young trees have oval bluish-green leaves while the mature trees develop long, narrow, yellowish leaves.
Color: Colourless to light yellow liquid
Common Uses: Eucalyptus Dives is considered refreshing and up-lifting. Being low in eucalyptol, it is excellent for skin and topical applications. It can also be used to treat skin ailments as well as to combat the effects of colds and the flu.
Consistency: Thin Note: Top
Strength of Aroma: Strong Blends well with: Rosemary, Marjoram, Lavender, most Citrus and Minty-type oils.
Aromatic Scent: Eucalyptus Dives has a sharp, penetrating mint scent with a balsamic woody undertone.
History: In the 1980s, Eucalyptus species, hybrids and clones are planted commercially in South Africa for the production of pulp and paper and various other forest products. It has slowly evolved into production of essential oils.
Cautions: Toxic if taken internally, non-irritant and non-sensitive. Avoid if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy.
