Garlic Essential Oil

Botanical Name: Allium sativum
Plant Part: Bulb
Extraction Method: Steam Distillation
Origin: Mexico
Description: Garlic is a bulb that grows 12-16 inches tall. Each bulb has somewhere around 5-15 cloves depending on the variety.
Color: Colorless to pale yellow
Common Uses: Garlic also has antibacterial and anti-hypertensive properties and is greatly favored as a flavoring ingredient in cookery worldwide.
Consistency: Thin

Blends well with: does not blend well with any other essential oil
Aromatic Scent: Essential oil of garlic is a powerful antiseptic - possibly the most powerful among essential oils.
History: Garlic was worshipped by the ancient Egyptians, chewed by Greek Olympian athletes and thought to be essential for keeping vampires at bay. The plant has been used over many centuries in different countries as a protection against evil.
Cautions: A few drops of the pure oil can fill a house with it’s strong aroma. Use extremely well diluted.

I've found that the use of Garlic, Tee Tree and Lavender together is GREAT for Nail fungus.

Now I must say I do LOVE garlic - and I was still surprised at the wonderful quality of ALL ND's products! First off I am sitting here and this vial is still unopened, yet I can smell the oil. Don't get me wrong - it is not so overpowering you could smell it all over the room. Thanks to the AMAZING packaging this oil did not invade the entire shipping box either! I will use this not only in medicinal blends but in cooking as well! No more messy galric cloves for me!
