Botanical Name: Vitis vinifera

Extraction Method: Cold Pressed

Description: Grapeseed Carrier Oil is cold pressed and refined to produce a light yellow green colored oil that is popular in cosmetic manufacturing.

Color: Light green to yellow green liquid.

Aromatic Description: Grapeseed Carrier Oil is odorless.

Common Uses: Grapeseed Oil is heavily used in skincare formulations for creams and lotions, and in aromatherapy. It is the preferred carrier oils for many massage therapists because of its light, satin like finish. It also has some astringent qualities and is good for oily, acne prone skin.

Consistency: Grapeseed Carrier Oil is one of the lightest carrier oils available.

Absorption: Absorbs easily into the skin.

Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of 1 year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.

Leaves a wonderfully silky feeling on the skin. All of my skin products have a bit of grapeseed oil in them. Works wonders at and excellent price! Of the grapeseed oils I have tried, ND is my favorite.

This products is as described. A little light for my winter products so I have to mix it with a heavier oil when using. It also gives my butters a hint of green. Overall it is a great product, I am just not getting much use out of it during the winter season. I am pretty sure I will need to stock up during summer though!

Ok.. so i ran out of grapeseed oil and went to buy some for my lotion bars at the health food store. HOLY sticker shock! Best price by far is found right here - thats the last time im going to let myself run out. Ive scrapped my usual moisturizer and now am using grapeseed oil after cleansing and a spray of rosewater/witch hazel. It absorbs right in,its light and you cant beat the price - its just right!

I made my first batch of body lotion using grapeseed oil as my main ingredient , my customers were amazed how moisturizing it felt on there skin. I even had one customer say she enjoy my lotion over one she bought at the Shopping Chanel from a well known person. I do like this oil so far the best ,as it absorbs into the skin, without that greasy feeling.

LOVE this oil as a base ingredient in...well, everything! Does not clog my oily, blemish-prone skin. Nice and light, dries down quickly. Leaves a very silky, satiny finish to your skin. A word of caution however, it will leave a shiny sheen on your skin in high concentrations, so keep that in mind when formulating your products! Blends well with just about everything.

I will be buying this one from NDA once my grocey store bottle is gone. Works great in facial bars as an astringent. I made a bar with the sweet pea fragrance oil and grapeseed and found that my bars turned green....soo cute.

This oil is light and absorbs quickly. I like it for facial moisure. Not quite thick enough for my dry winter skin so I am going to try mixing it with cocoa butter or shea butter for body. Makes a good bath oil too.

Wonderfuly nourishing and light carrier to mix with your favorite EO's to quench dry or recently bubble bath soaked skin. I have also mixed with sesame and various EO's to heal releive pain from an intense sunburn on face and back. There was minimal clogging of my pores and no scarring..

What an amazing oil. Just add a few drops of your favorite Eos in it and nothing else and your skin will flourish and it will thank you every time you use this blessed oil. Leaves your skin soft as velvet. Non-comedogenic at all.

My Grape Seed Oil arrived well packaged as usual and through the bubble wrap I was giddy at the sight of the light green colour of this oil! I have never used Grape Seed Oil before so basing my purchase on the helpful reviews of other customers and the wonderful information provided by NDA staff I knew this would be an excellent oil to use in my skin care being chock full of vitamins, nutrients and being slightly astringent.

This is my favorite carrier oil. I love the way it works with my face's oily skin. I put it on my face, and I don't have any more zits than before I started using it. I have noticed that in winter my body used to itch, but ever since using this oil, I have never itched. I always put it on after my shower and it is completely absorbed in a few minutes. Ever since using this oil my skin feels so soft and wonderful. My husband certainly loves it.

Grapeseed is such a great oil ! I mix it with Jojoba oil and put in Thyme Red, Lavender, Rosemary Spanish, and Cedarwood Himalayan and WOW does that smell good, I heard it was a good mixture for hairloss !!

This is an awesome oil at a great price. It absorbs into the skin almost instantly when it's applied, and it leaves the skin looking and feeling very moist and healthy, without feeling greasy. I haven't tried blending it with essential oils yet, but have used it neat and in combination with other oils/butters. Personally I think this works best when it is applied to dry rather than wet skin. For an oil to use straight out of the shower, I prefer a thicker oil to seal in the added moisture, although a light oil like this would be great to add straight to bath water. This oil is also a great base for a sugar or finely ground salt scrub to be applied just before entering the bath or shower; its light, easily absorbed consistency makes it ideal for such an application.

I've only bought one bottle of this so far. I wanted to try it out and so far with GREAT results!! I put a few drops of lavender essential oil into this to massage the backs of just about everyone in my family. They LOVE it. It feels great and not greasy and they feel extremely relaxed. Great to use on kids before bed to bring them down from a long day! I've used some in my soaps too with great results. Definitely buying again!

A very nice light multipurpose oil. I use it in my massage oil and body scrubs, and also as a substitute for sweet almond oil when I want to provide a product without nut oils (due to allergies). This oil has never given me any kinds of problems at all. Excellent price, too!

I have come to respect and actually prefer grapeseed as my carrier oil of choice and New Directions (NDA)'s is by far the best in both price and quality. Theirs has a nice slip (lubricant) to it and of course grapeseed has no scent which makes it wonderful for use with delicate floral essential oils without altering their fragrance.
