This Ultra Refined Mango Butter is expeller pressed from the mango seed and further refined to remove any color or scent. It is solid at room temperature but melts on contact with the skin.

Common Uses: Mango Butter is said to be rich in antioxidants and can be used to soften, smooth and moisturize rough dry skin. It has natural emollient properties, and is reputed to be useful for treating burns, stretch marks, scar reduction, wound healing and skin regeneration – smoothing of wrinkles. It is also reputed to have protective effect against UV radiation and can be used to treat sunburns. Mango Butter is ideal in formulations for lotions, body butters, balms, soaps, shaving creams, hair care products and lip balms.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 3 - 5 %
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 3 - 6 %
• Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %

When adding butters to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.

Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of approximately 1 - 2 years when stored properly.

This is another amazing butter i used in my set of hair butters, and it really nice. Very moisturizing, and it worked even better having been combined with shea and almond butter, for my triple moisture butter. Would deffinitely get this again.

I too have become a fan of the mango butter. (and immediately ordered a bigger tub) I absolutely LOVE it. I is great on my body and dry crack skin. Then i read that it helps in the treatment of wrinkles so i put some on my forehead (with no real expectations) and notice a visible difference in the appearance of my wrinkles that night !!! and it didn't clog my pores or cause a breakout! i am working now on how to change the texture so that it is easier to use out of a tub. (it is chunky and wonderfully melts in your fingers but consumers are picky) my clients are already addicted too! Great product - Way better value for the cost!

This is a all around good butter but wish it had a stronger mango smell. I would like to make a body butter with it without adding extra scent to it. This is great for my lip balms and other products too. The properties are wonderful.

This is the first time i ordered from this website and I must say I am truly impressed! I am a massage therapist, one day a client (construction worker) came in with back pain but neglected to mention his RED sunburn from the day before. All I had available at the time was this Mango Butter. I slathered it all over his back & proceeded to use the slick from the butter to massage him. I treated his fiance 2 days later & she said his back looked normal already (& felt great too!!) I plan on making an after-sun blend based on this butter. It feels amazing & works great too!! Nice product. I bought this because I have psorisis and wanted to make a thicker cream since my formula was all Oils and was impressed with the silky feeling mango butter offers. It has no scent or very little. Will be back for more!

I used this in whipped body butter and it feels wonderful on the skin, it doesn't have a strong scent so when you add scent you only have to add a little. I will keep buying this for a long time and it's such a good price. I've bought 8 butters I think so I'll review them all as i use them but so far the ones I have used are superb quality.
