This Ultra Refined Mango Butter is expeller pressed from the mango seed and further refined to remove any color or scent. It is soft but solid at room temperature, and slightly grainy in texture, but it melts on contact with the skin.
Common Uses: Mango Butter has been used by the indigenous people of the forest regions of southeast Asia for centuries. It is known to be rich in antioxidants and emollients as well as Vitamins A and E, and it can be used to soften and moisturize rough and dry skin. Its natural properties are useful for reducing the appearance of fine lines. Mango Butter is ideal in formulations for lotions, body butters, balms, soaps, shaving creams, hair care products and lip balms.
Mango butter is high in unsaponifiables and can develop crystal-like granules of fat due to storage temperature.
• In a double boiler, heat mango butter to 170-185▪F.
• Maintain this temperature for 15-20 minutes to ensure all fat crystals are completely melted.
• After 15-20 minutes allow rapid cooling.
When adding butter to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound (15 g / 500 g). As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.
Shelf Life: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality. This butter has a shelf-life of one year when stored properly.

Rating: LOVE this butter! It is very versatile. I melt it down and mix it with avocado butter and grapeseed oil for a beautiful, nourishing lotion. Although I would *really* love to see an unrefined mango butter at NDA, this will do for now. Great consistency, very neutral scent. Just wonderful.

Rating: You can use this butter in hair or skin as a moisturizer, oil treatment, and anything else you can think of. Just add your basic carrier and essential oils and you are set. Add a little mango fragrance oil for a better scent but its natural odor is not bad at all. Very nice, very nice!

Rating: I am starting a new business and decided to try it myself before launching my products. I also have been doing samples. Everyone loves it.
I love this butter. I use it with Shea Butter and both combined is awesome. I've added grape seed CO and vitamin-E with either Mango or Vanilla Fragrance Scent and everyone loves it. It is a all purpose butter. I tried it as a hot oil treatment last week adding aloe vera juice and was so impressed with the softness of my hair that I had a fit. I was asking everyone to feel my hair. I use it as a moisturizer all over my body because my body is very dry. I use it when I am out in the sun and it gives a beautiful tan and skin tone.
I also broke out with a rash from drinking to much ginger. I decided to use it by itself on the rash and it cleared it right up. I do not care much for the a smell so the fragrance oils are perfect. I love the Mango/Papaya.
Rating: I use this in shampoo bars CP soap, lip balms, and lotions! Also used it in my hot oil hair treatments and it makes my hair feel silky smooth after leaving it in overnight and rinsing out the next morning. Love it and will definitely buy more again in bulk!

Rating: My favourite butter ever! I can't begin to explain how much I love, love, love this butter! It melts in your hands, and doesn't leave a greasy residue at all. It has no distinctive scent so you can pretty much add any fragrance to it and it makes my skin so uber soft and silky. I immediately noticed a difference when I ran out of it. I love this butter!

Rating: Mango butter is so rich! I like to combine it with others like shea and pumpkin seed. Add a little orange and peppermint EO and you got yourself a very uplifting butter for your feet!

Rating: This is another amazing butter i used in my set of hair butters, and it really nice. Very moisturizing, and it worked even better having been combined with shea and almond butter, for my triple moisture butter. Would deffinitely get this again.

Rating: I too have become a fan of the mango butter. (and immediately ordered a bigger tub) I absolutely LOVE it. I is great on my body and dry crack skin. Then i read that it helps in the treatment of wrinkles so i put some on my forehead (with no real expectations) and notice a visible difference in the appearance of my wrinkles that night !!! and it didn't clog my pores or cause a breakout! i am working now on how to change the texture so that it is easier to use out of a tub. (it is chunky and wonderfully melts in your fingers but consumers are picky) my clients are already addicted too! Great product - Way better value for the cost!
Rating: This is a all around good butter but wish it had a stronger mango smell. I would like to make a body butter with it without adding extra scent to it. This is great for my lip balms and other products too. The properties are wonderful.

Rating: This is the first time i ordered from this website and I must say I am truly impressed! I was like a kid in a candy store when i saw my package (which came on the day that reflected in the system; another thumbs up!). I expected to see small containers; however, i was blown away by the size of the contents. So far, you do get your money's worth. I will definitely be back to order more products VERY SOON!
Rating: I am a massage therapist, one day a client (construction worker) came in with back pain but neglected to mention his RED sunburn from the day before. All I had available at the time was this Mango Butter. I slathered it all over his back & proceeded to use the slick from the butter to massage him. I treated his fiance 2 days later & she said his back looked normal already (& felt great too!!) I plan on making an after-sun blend based on this butter. It feels amazing & works great too!! Rating: Nice product. I bought this because I have psorisis and wanted to make a thicker cream since my formula was all Oils and was impressed with the silky feeling mango butter offers. It has no scent or very little. Will be back for more!

Rating: I used this in whipped body butter and it feels wonderful on the skin, it doesn't have a strong scent so when you add scent you only have to add a little. I will keep buying this for a long time and it's such a good price. I've bought 8 butters I think so I'll review them all as i use them but so far the ones I have used are superb quality.
