Description:
Extra Virgin Rosehip oil is enriched with vitamin E and is extremely high in essential fatty acids and is known to help treat dry, irritated, weathered skin. "Extra Virgin" means that the oil is of the highest quality and is produced as a result a single, simple pressing. Extra Virgin Rosehip oil is also suitable for treating burns, scars and stretch marks. There are some concerns that it can aggravate acne conditions.
Color: Light reddish to deep reddish liquid.

Description: Rosehip has very little scent characteristic of most
carrier oils
Common Uses: Vitamin E Enriched Rosehip oil contains a high amount of vitamin E, vitamin A and essential fatty acids which promotes collagen and elastin levels to increase and assists with cell regeneration. It promotes healthy skin and, can be used to treat burns, sunburns, wrinkles, stretch marks and eczema.
Rosehip oil is becoming popular with massage therapists for its skin healing properties, though it is typically in dilution (10% recommended). It is highly recommended for use in cosmetics, hair and skin care. It is a key ingredient in creams, lotions, massage oil, face oil, and body oil to name a few.
Consistency: Typical and Characteristic of Carrier Oils.
Absorption: Rosehip is considered a “drying oil” which means that it is quickly absorbed by the skin and does not leave an oily feel.
Shelf life: Rosehip Oil is slow to go rancid; users can expect a shelf life of 6 Months to 1 Year with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended.
Cautions: In high concentrations,
Rosehip Oil may aggravate acne.

This is an excellent oil. I made an anti-aging skin preparation for my mom and myself, and we can both see a difference in the tone and quality of our skin, and that's only after a couple of weeks! It absorbs quickly, and leaves behind a supple appearance of the skin. Very nice!

i have been using this product mixed with a few drops of baby oil on my body for several years. I have not been ill since i started. This comes from one with lung damage from pneumonia and one who used to have at the very least, 2 serious bouts with cold/flu symptoms yearly.

I first discovered rosehip oil in Chile, where it is widely recognized for its healing properties- an amazing ingredient!

Don't let the thin texture fool you! This oil is amazing in even in small quantities. The smell reminds me of tea- very fresh. Beautiful in body butters!
