Description: Orange is derived from an evergreen tree. It is smaller than the bitter orange tree, and less hardy with fewer or no spines. The fruit itself has a sweet pulp with no bitter membrane. Orange Five Fold Oil is more concentrated than the regular citrus essential oils. Through extended distillation, terpenes are removed from the oil rendering more suitable for cosmetic applications.
Color: Dark orange to golden brown liquid
Common Uses: Properties for Orange Five Fold Essential Oil are as follows: antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, carminative, cordial, deodorant, digestive, stimulant (nervous) and tonic (cardiac, circulatory). It has also been applied to combat colds, constipation, dull skin, flatulence, the flu, gums, slow digestion, and stress. The increased concentration of the essential oil fragrance makes the oil perfect for soap & candle making.

Blends well with: Lavender, Bergamot, Lemon, Clary Sage, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Nutmeg, Cinnamon Bark and Clove Bud.
Aromatic Scent: Orange Five Fold Essential Oil has a sweet, citrus smell much like the orange peels it is derived from, only more intense and concentrated.
History: There is some argument, but it is believed that sweet orange was brought to Europe by the Arabs in the First century along with the bitter orange.
Cautions: Some aromatherapists have reported that a small percentage of few people have experienced dermatitis from the limonene content of sweet orange. Orange Essential Oil is considered photo-toxic and exposure to sunlight should be avoided. Do not use if pregnant.

I really love this Orange scent and it is long lasting. The scent makes you want to drink it right out of the bottle! Great for cleaning products, also great in room sprays. Smells good on incense sticks and cones, keeps the bugs away as well.

I put this in patchouli orange soap 9 months ago. I got a bar off the shelf this morning and the orange came through beautifully. The shower lifted me up and was delightful. No Litsea to anchor it, only the patch. Perfection.

I stopped making citrus CP soap a few years ago because, after time, the scent would wane. I just received my shipment yesterday, and the first bottle I opened was the 5-Fold Sweet Orange. OMG!!! I cannot stop smelling this, it smells so good. It has an intense natural orangey scent along with a very orangey color. It reminds me of orange skittles. Awesome. I am going to use this in a batch today, along with pumice and a shot of d-Limonene to make Gardener's and Mechanic's Soaps. It will impart a wonderful orange tint to the soap. According to my research, it lasts longer than regular citrus EOs, so I will see. I am impressed with all of the other EOs I ordered also. Wow, you go, NDA!

This is a wonderful warm and happy oil! I love to blend it with bergamot as a room spray or put it in a difuser. I also mix it with a mild biodegradable soap to clean the floors and counter tops!

Is there anyone on the planet who doesn't love the smell of orange? Out of the 6 different aromatherapy options I give my clients, this EO is chosen 85% of the time! They LOVE the smell, and always ask where I got it from. My favorite ND EO bar none!

I don't use any other orange essential oil in my soap...The more I use, the better it is, and even when I used a small amount, the scent held up well. My old soap is months old and still smells great. You always read the citrus oils fade and aren't really worth the time unless you get a quality oil...here it is. However, I've never tried the regular oils to see if the 5 fold is really that much better.

THIS IS AMAZING!!! I have always been pleased with ND's basic Orange EO, but wow! this is intense and my mouth starts to water as it really smells like a perfect orange. Beautiful in blends and extremely well priced. Will be ordering more of this!!!

I particularily like the Orange 5 fold because it is really stable in my formulations. I was able to decrease my emulsifier quantity by half because of the increased stability of Orange 5 fold compared to regular orange essential oils. Of course, it also has a fantastic scent that is exactly like the burst of scent you get when you open a fresh, ripe orange.
