Soy Butter

Botanical Name:Glycine Soja
Description: Through innovative manufacturing processes, all natural soy beans can now be made into soy butter. Soy Butter is white in color with a very mild scent. Soya Bean is extremely high in Lecithin, Sterolins, Vitamin E, Omega 3 fatty acids and Isoflavones. It penetrates easily into the skin which makes it an effective moisturizing agent.
Common Uses: Soy butter re-hydrates and replenishes the skin’s lipid barrier to help hold in moisture while softening dry, chafed, and damaged skin.
Soy butter exhibits good spread-ability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or body balm, and it can be added to soaps, creams, lotions, body butters, and more. Use it in your hair care products for added conditioning and shine.
Shelf Life: It should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of approximately 1 - 2 years when stored properly.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 5 - 20%
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 5 – 20 %
• Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %

So interseting ! This butter has a "dense" feeling and seems very rich. I will use it in my cp soap with pleasure but will try it "as is" on my skin ... just to try. At first glance, does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin.

I didn't know how this butter would feel but went I used it on my skin I loved it, then I wondered how it would do in my hair and conditioners I have only been using this butter for a little over a month now and my hair is more healthy and has grown and inch longer.

This soy butter is interesting, it looked to me like crisco grease and smelt like it. However it relieves extremely dry skin well. My son had very chapped lips that were cracking and bleeding so I applied a little of this butter and it relieved his discomfort well. At night I often use this butter on my hands, feet, knees, elbows and lips to soften and protect my skin. The texture is very thick and heavy, but works well diluted with other products. Over-all it's a good product for intense skin moisturization.
