Soy Butter

Through innovative manufacturing processes, all natural soy beans can now be made into Soy Butter. Soy Butter is white in color with a very mild scent. Soya Bean is extremely high in lecithin, sterolins, vitamin E, omega 3 fatty acids and isoflavones. It penetrates easily into the skin which makes it an effective moisturizing agent.

Common Uses: Soy Butter re-hydrates and replenishes the skin’s lipid barrier to help hold in moisture while softening dry, chafed, and damaged skin. It exhibits good spread-ability on the skin, making it ideal as a massage butter or body balm, and it can be added to soaps, creams, lotions, body butters, and more. Use it in your hair care products for added conditioning and shine.

Recommended Usage:
• Lotions & Creams: 5 – 20 %
• Balms: 5 – 100 %
• Bar Soaps: 5 – 20 %
• Hair Conditioners: 2 – 5 %

When adding butters to creams and lotions, it might be necessary to gently warm them until the texture can be incorporated into the final product. Using a hand blender, create a vortex with your cream or lotion and drizzle your melted butter to fully incorporate. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound. As with most raw materials, results may vary, so we strongly recommend small, lab scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.

Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of approximately 1 - 2 years when stored properly.

This butter is great! I use 100% soy butter with lavender and chamomile eo as diaper rash cream and it did wonders on my baby! Recently I have an auto-immune disorder and caused blister all over my body. When the blister is healing, my skin is really dry and crack. So I use soy butter mix with rosehip and rice bran oil as body balm. It soothe my skin right away. The velvet feeling just like putting silk on my skin. Thank you for offering such a great product.

I just got my very first order today. I ordered 3.3 lbs and already love it. I make soy candles and sometimes put the melted wax on my hands, especially during the winter when they get really dry. When I first put the butter on, it melted just like the wax but didn't leave my hands as greasy. I'm super excited because I originally ordered it for my dad. His arm get extremely dry and then start to crack and bleed. I am going to mix the Texas Cedarwood with it and can't wait to see the results. This butter is awesom!!!

Pleasant, "slippy" texture...odd as it sounds, sort of like cream cheese. It melts slowly on the skin, kind of oily at first but will absorb with a little help. No discernible scent. Very excited to try it in a cream!

This butter has replaced several of my normally used butter's.I made a batch of full body age defying butter and my customers loved it,i kept a jar just for myself and it's almost gone.I can feel the difference in my skins texture already.The butter is very easy to work with and has very little scent.I added Bulgarian Lavender to this batch.I ordered 2 of the 2.2 lb containers and when I order again I'll be ordering more then that,can't wait to start adding this to my soaps,lotions and creams. Totally loving this butter so far. Bought it as a replacement for Shea since I can't use that anymore due to a severe allergy to tree nuts. Thick white consistency & I found no discernible scent. Tried it as is and it melted immediately with no greasy feel. Made a body butter with it tonight as well and am very pleased with the results! So interseting ! This butter has a "dense" feeling and seems very rich. I will use it in my cp soap with pleasure but will try it "as is" on my skin ... just to try. At first glance, does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin.

This soy butter is interesting, it looked to me like crisco grease and smelt like it. However it relieves extremely dry skin well. My son had very chapped lips that were cracking and bleeding so I applied a little of this butter and it relieved his discomfort well. At night I often use this butter on my hands, feet, knees, elbows and lips to soften and protect my skin. The texture is very thick and heavy, but works well diluted with other products. Over-all it's a good product for intense skin moisturization.
