Description: Jasmine Grandiflorum is a beautiful plant and its flowers bloom in the early dawn unlike Jasmine Sambac, which blooms in the evening.
Color: Light reddish brown liquid.
Common Uses: Jasmine is always in high demand for it exquisitely fragrant properties. It is a sensual blossom whose fragrance profile figures prominently lending top notes to many of the world’s best perfumes. Because this is diluted in Jojoba Oil, it can be used as a simple or blended with other oils to make a purely natural perfume.
Consistency: Medium
Note: Middle
Strength of Aroma: Strong
Blends well with: Jasmine Absolutes generally work well with other aromatic oils. Its top note helps to blend and round out scents, and works particularly well with fragrant woods like Sandalwood, and other florals like Ylang Ylang.
Aromatic Scent: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has a smooth, extremely intense floral smell that is both sweet and lingering.
History: Since ancient times, Jasmine has been referred to as the King of oils (Rose is the Queen). Apparently this is because Jasmine is the most masculine of all the floral oils. It is also interesting to note that it takes 8,000 carefully hand-picked blossoms to produce 1 gram (about 1 ml.) of Jasmine Absolute.
Cautions: It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance - particularly the rare and exotic notes - becomes lost.

Rating: Beautiful jasmine. It reminds me of the scent of a mother's love... just what I associate it with :) I also like that it's dispersed in jojoba.

Rating: Very nice! The jasmine is beautiful. I thought it might be a little too weak, but the smell carries through quite nicely in my EO fragrances. Will buy again!

Rating: I bought this 3% dilution originally just for the jasmine... i took for granted that the carrier oil is jojoba! my face moisturizer was recently discontinued and i used the jasmine glandiforum 3% dilution, neat, on my face. 3 drops is enough to moisturize, but i found that 5 drops was perfect. jojoba is non-comediogenic and both jojoba and jasmine are great moisturizers. no greasy texture, just a pleasant, youthful glow! who knew it was so simple? this is my new facial moisturizer. WARNING w/ jasmine though, do not use if you are pregnant.

Rating: I have this and the Sambac dilutions. I love them both.

Rating: Absolutely wonderful quality dilution. I really get the true sweet scent of Jasmine from it. Only the tiniest hint of the jojoba, but that part disappears when blended into a product or applied to skin.

Rating: I have only good things to say about this. Even at a 3% dilution the scent is heavenly and strong. If you were looking for a true jasmine scent, this is it. It's wonderful!

Rating: This jasmine is INSANELY good!! A marvelous aphrodisiac!! I'd highly recommend using it if you want a jasmine scent. It's still strong, despite the dilution, so don't let that dissuade you. It's got a muskiness, that is quite inviting. I've actually also tried the sambac version, though only in the absolute, and even when I dilute that one, it has this odd cloying scent that I don't like much, but the grandiflorum does not. So if you're hesitating between the two, I'd recommend this one.

Rating: I LOVE Jasmine. It's always been a favorite scent of mine but EO of it are expensive and often disappointing. This oil will NOT disappoint. It's like sticking you nose in fresh jasmine blooms without being overwhelming. I have fallen in love with oil and was very surprised at the quality and fragrance because it is only 3%. I highly recommend this to everyone!! Another permanent member of my cabinet.

Rating: A lovely and affordable way to enjoy the sweet scent of jasmine. A dab behind pulse points leaves a beautiful fragrance that evolves lovelier and lovelier with time. Thank you NDA!
By:Coletta, Streetsboro, Ohio Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 20-Aug-2008
Rating: An absolutely beautiful aroma and wonderfully priced. Rich and floral without being overwhelmingly powerful. There is a slight hint of Jojoba in the smell of the 3% versus pure Jasmine, but it is very subtle and only noticeable when intentionally comparing the two. I use it in my lotions and my clients love it. Thanks ND!

Rating: Beautiful feminine and floral jasmine scent!
One issue I have with all 3% dilutions here though, is the golden jojoba....I can always catch its scent in the mixture. In this case, because the grandiflourm is a more delicate scent, the golden jojoba is also more obvious.
Would love to see the dilutions being offered in clear deodorized jojoba oil base.....

Rating: I recently bought this and the Rose Damask 3%.
They are both great. This one reminds me of my grandparent's garden, it smells exactly like the flower. Great for spring and summer lines!! And because the dilution is strong, I'm able to offer lower priced alternatives, which customers love!

Rating: Rich, floral scent, even at just 3% dilution. Jasmine is usually too intense for my nose, so I really like the dilutions. This is a beautiful scent, but I slightly prefer the jasmine sambac (but that's just my personal taste/smell).
By:Judith, Baltimore, Maryland Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 26-Mar-2006
Rating: I adore the 3% dilutions. They are much stronger than I had anticipated and reasonably priced. A great way to include otherwise unaffordable scents in my formulations. I would love to see a larger variety offered in the future.

Rating: This is a beautiful oil. Even though it is diluted, it is very strong smelling so you really don't need much. It is so much more affordable than the essential oil, but the scent is still very powerful so I think it is definitely the way to go.

Rating: Lovely scent. I actually prefer this jasmine to jasmine sambac. The golden jojoba does a good job of moisturizing my skin too.
By:Debra, Scarborough, Ontario Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 09-Nov-2005
Rating: Even at 3% the smell of this jasmine oil is overwhelming! I love it! You will need to dilute it much further.
