Description: Walnut Carrier Oil is an excellent emollient with moisturizing properties for dry, aged, irritated skin. In aromatherapy circles, Walnut Oil is also credited with being a balancing agent for the nervous system.
Color: Pale yellow to yellow liquid.

Common Uses: Walnut Carrier Oil is suitable for aromatherapy and massage therapy. In both, the Walnut Oil is typically diluted in another carrier oil. It is also a popular oil in cosmetic manufacturing.

Absorption: Absorbs into skin at average speed, slight oil feeling left on skin.
Shelf Life: Users can expect a shelf life of up to 2 years with proper storage conditions (cool, out of direct sunlight). Refrigeration after opening is recommended. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for current Best Before Date.
Cautions: Persons with nut allergy should not use this oil.
Storage: It is recommended that cold-pressed carrier oils be kept in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness and achieve maximum shelf life. If refrigerated, bring to room temperature before using.

Rating: I purchased this oil a while ago and it sat on my shelf, I finally got the time to work on formula, I regret not working with the oil sooner. Back in the 70's there was an expression "Digging It". I am really digging this product. Oil makes my skin feel wonderful. In addition, you can not beat the price.

Rating: I adore this oil! The texture leaves your skin feeling so, so nourished and soft. Not a strong scent either. I highly recommend for dry skin. Will continue to buy this product.

Rating: I love this in my soaps, though I find I'm hesitant to use it in products where a nut allergy could be a problem.

Rating: I agree with Tracy about it being slightly astringent. This oil is absorbed quickly and leaves skin feeling very natural.

Rating: Awesome oil! It's very shear, doesn't leave a sticky coating, doesn't have an oily residue and leaves the skin with a gorgeous healthy shine. I use this as my main oil in my lotions, massage blends and my personal favorite for my hair conditioners (especially on damaged / color treated hair). It gives your hair a nice healthy shine and smooths damaged hair without weighing it down and looking greasy.
Highly recommended!

Rating: A wonderful oil as long as you don't have allergies to nuts. Walnut oil helps to regenerate, tone & moisturize; dry, aging, rough and sunburned skin. It is the perfect addition to my suntan formulations, dandruff treatments, eczema salves, body butters and facial treatments. New Directions offers a high quality Walnut oil and a fair price.
