Verdant Fig is built almost entirely around the leaf. Most fig fragrances reach for the fruit, the jam, the sweetness — we deliberately did not.
The composition opens with the cool, slightly bitter green of a freshly crushed fig leaf, deepens into the broader sun-warmed canopy overhead, and finishes in the dry woody base of the fig tree itself — a composition built entirely from leaf, light, and wood.

Verdant Fig was inspired by the idea of an afternoon spent under an old fig tree. Not picking the fruit, not making jam — just sitting in the shade, the broad green leaves overhead, the dry warm air moving through them.
That is the scent we wanted: the canopy and the tree itself — the experience of standing in its shade rather than reaching for its fruit. A scent about foliage, light through leaves, and the quiet woody hum of the trunk. The orchard from below.
