When dispersed in water, Colloidal Oatmeal forms a stable colloidal suspension due to its average particle size (200 mesh). This unique property ensures that the oatmeal particles remain evenly distributed throughout the liquid, rather than settling at the bottom. This creates a hydrating and protective film on the skin, bridging the gap between a solution and a suspension.

The mucilage in Colloidal Oatmeal is exceptionally gentle and enriched with oil from the oat's germ. This makes it suitable for use in both baby and adult bath products. For a soothing bath experience, simply add up to 1 tablespoon to a baby's bath or ½ cup to an adult's bath, dispersing it under the running tap.

• Hydrating Lotion: To create a nourishing lotion, blend 1 cup of your preferred lotion base with 1 tablespoon of Colloidal Oatmeal. Stir until the oatmeal is fully incorporated. Apply a small amount to your skin after cleansing, focusing on areas prone to dryness.

• Scalp Soothing Shampoo: Add 1 tablespoon of Colloidal Oatmeal to 1 cup of your shampoo base. Stir well to ensure even distribution. Use as usual, applying to wet hair and scalp. Gently massage and rinse thoroughly.
