French Pink Clay is a combination of red and white clays. It is considered to be the mildest of all the clays and works well for normal, sensitive and mature skin types. Its unique composition includes Kaolinite, Iron, Illite, Montmorillonite and Calcite.
Appearance: Fine rose/pink colored powder.
Benefits: French Pink Clay can be used to cleanse the skin, slough off dead skin cells and to create an overall refreshed appearance. It can be used on oily or acne-prone skin. It is most widely used in cosmetic manufacturing.
Application: French Pink Clay can be used in body wraps, soap making, face masks, mineral based or cream based cleansers, face or body scrubs, cosmetics and facial powders.
Directions for Use: 5-100% in skin-care products, 1 T. / 15ml per lb. / 500g of soap.
Caution: Caution should be exercised as clays may stain fabric.
Soothing Face Mask Recipe:
Combine 1 oz of clay to 3 tbsp of water, add 1 tsp of jojoba oil and 2 drops of chamomile essential oil to form a paste. Apply to the skin and leave for about 10 minutes and wash off with warm water. Floral water or aloe vera gel juice can be substituted for water.
Foaming Baths and Shampoos Recipe:
Add 5-10% of clays to the product. Simply sprinkle the clay in, allowing it to settle. Always shake before use as the Clay sinks to the bottom.

Rating: I recently had to switch to this clay, due to the fact that they discontinued the Australian pink clay for my face mask. Oddly enough, because of the reformulation it ended up saving me a few cents. I Am very pleased with this products as if still does the job. please do not discontinue this clay since you guys are taking out all the good stuff.

Rating: Very disappointed with this clay. I used it in my soap, a recipe I had made many times before, and it seized. The color is a light brown, mud water, not pink. When I made the first test batch I thought I may have miscalculated my ingredients so I made another batch, and then a third. All with the same results! Won't be purchasing this clay again.
Rating: I bought this to color soap naturally and it works well for that. Beautiful color. Packaged nicely.

Rating: The French pink clay makes a lovely, gentle clay mask. I combine it with the Zeolite Ultra Fine clay to help with ease of removing the mask. I am not left with any staining on our faces thanks to the zeolite clay addition but it definitely does stain the washcloths used to remove it.
Rating: This fine clay makes the best mask of course, it also colors my creams and soaps beautifully and I use it as a blush and lip tint,

Rating: LOVE this clay! It leaves my skin so soft, and pores minimized but not tight. The only thing I don't like it that it does stain your skin a little pink. You really gotta scrub it off. I used toner over my face twice and was still getting lots of pink coming off.

Rating: I use French Pink Clay made CP soap. Soaps had nice pink. It 's very beautiful and romantic color.
Rating: I have used the French Clay several times, as it is a favorite amongst many of my facial clients.
I use it on almost any skin type with a wide variety of skin ailments, especially my acne prone clientelle. They love the soothing and tightening effect the clay has as a mud mask. Acne has been cleared up approximately 30% in a 1st treatment on many of my younger clients. It is easy to mix into a facial paste, easy to apply and quite easy to remove.
I reccommend this clay! Two thumbs up from me and my client base.
