Also known as White Cosmetic Clay, China Clay, White Clay, Chalk, and White Dirt, Kaolin has a variety of uses. Soap makers often use it in shaving soaps and creams as it adds slip while being safe and is generally non-sensitizing. This soft and gentle clay can also be mixed with water to form facial masks that help to remove oil from the skin reduces the unwanted oily shine on the nose. Other applications include in the formulation of natural deodorants, poultices and scrubs.
Important Note: The Titanium Dioxide found in this product is naturally occurring in the Kaolin Clay.

Rating: I just received my order and I’ve already made Foaming Bath Butter and a face mask with it. Excellent product! I have a combination/supper sensitive skin and my skin feels AMAZING! I have been ordering from NDA for over 4 years and I am kicking myself for finding this product now. Word of advice: if you are using this as a mask (on its own) mix it with warm water and add the water gradually. Also, I found it much easier to mix with the brush I use to apply my mask with rather than spoon/spatula.

Rating: This is my go to for bases for facial and body masks, and as an ingredient in body powders. This is the only kaolin I've found that is finely ground enough to suit me.

Rating: I tried this clay for the fist time a week ago and I simply loved it! I have very sensitive skin and was looking for a good product to add to soap or even just to a relaxing bath that would not irritate my skin. Its very gentile and leaves your skin very soft. Excellent.

Rating: For me kaolin is a better pore cleanser that any solution proposed in cosmetic' stores.
I also like it as part of body masks.

Rating: A wonderful Kaolin. Top quality, there is an odor, but that is to be expected with a natural product. I don't cover it, just enjoy it. I use it in face masks, soaps and powder products.

Rating: I really like the way this clay works but the smell is overwhelming to me. Even blended with essential oils and flower waters, I can still smell it - reminiscent of cat litter, which I think is made with white clay too. :(

Rating: I purchased kaolin clay awhile ago, but i've just gotten around to leaving a review. The first thing I did was touch it. It felt like silk. You barely know you've touched it at all. I use it in my sugar scrubs, mix it with cocoa powder for a face mask, and my melt and pour soaps. It seems to work well with everything, I think I'm going to try putting it in my bath fizzies next. I wonder if it would make a talc powder? Love this stuff. But I've hardly put a dent in my 2.2 lb jar. It's going to last forever! Great product!

Rating: I bought this to make a good shaving soap, but have used it in my cp soaps and facail scrubs too with wonderfull results. I think I bought too much though because I have hardly thouched the 2.2 lbs yet.

Rating: I love this clay. It's very soft and fluffy, and very effective in softening and soothing my skin. There's a noticeable difference in my skin texture after using it. I add it to facial masks and bath bombs. And, as always, can't beat the value!

Rating: bright white and fluffy, this is what a good Kaolin should look like. Great packaging and easy to use, try this in body powders, shaving applications and soaps. I love to add it to masks of facial cleansers to add the lighter absorbing properties for those of us who tend to be dry. Mix it with a little bit of cucumber extract for a cool as a cucumber mask. Yum!
