FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Natural Citrus Terpene: d-Limonene, also known as Citrus Terpenes, is extracted from the cold-pressed peels of edible citrus fruits, including oranges, lemons, and limes. This natural origin ensures purity and high efficacy.

Eco-Friendly Alternative: d-Limonene serves as a more environmentally friendly alternative to many conventional cleaning agents. Its effectiveness as a solvent in green cleaning products underscores its versatility and sustainability.

Fragrance Boost: With its bright and invigorating citrus scent, d-Limonene enhances the fragrance profile of cleansers, making it a popular choice for home cleaning products.

DESCRIPTION

d-Limonene, a clear and thin liquid with a refreshingly dry citrus scent, is derived from the steam distillation of citrus rinds. This natural extraction method ensures a pure and potent product that captures the essence of citrus fruits. Renowned for its versatility, d-Limonene stands out as a safer and more effective alternative to many commercial cleaners. When used at concentrations of 5-15% of the total product, it can be blended with surfactants to create industrial-strength cleaners. Alternatively, it can be solubilized and added to water and vinegar bases to produce highly effective natural disinfectant surface cleaners suitable for home use.

d-Limonene can also be utilized at full strength as a biodegradable solvent. It effectively removes stains, grease, tar, and more, making it a natural replacement for conventional solvents that often contain chlorine or petroleum. Its mild nature has also made it a favored ingredient in water-free hand soaps, where it not only cleanses but also imparts a fresh citrus scent to hands.

The multifunctional properties and environmentally friendly profile of d-Limonene make it an invaluable ingredient in both household and industrial cleaning formulations. Elevate your formulations today!

DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE

  • Full-Strength Application: d-Limonene can be used at full strength as an eco-friendly detergent. Apply d-Limonene directly to the surface and wipe with a clean cloth to remove stains, grease, tar, and other residues.

  • Diluted Application: d-Limonene can be added to wetting agents such as water or vinegar bases. The suggested ratio is 5-15% d-Limonene in the total solution. Shake or stir the mixture to ensure proper solubilization, then spray onto desired surface and wipe away.
