Product Abstract: Eucalyptus Radiata is also known as Narrow-Leaved Peppermint. The young trees have oval bluish-green leaves while the mature trees develop long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale grey bark. Eucalyptus leaves are the favourite food of Koalas, and have been used as traditional medicine by the aboriginal peoples of Australia. Eucalyptus Radiata is preferred over Eucalyptus Globulus because it is less harsh.
Cautions: Avoid if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy. For external use only, this is considered toxic if taken internally. Dilute before use; may cause skin irritation in some individuals, so a skin test is recommended prior to use. Avoid contact with eyes.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.

Rating: Love this Eucalyptus from Australia, the scent is crisp, fresh, and refreshing. Did not really care for the batch from South Africa that much (do not know why it was strange) and ordered that one instead and this is what I call Eucalyptus and my customers love it!

Rating: This is my husband’s favorite scent. I often add some to cleaning products before cleaning the house because it makes everything smell clean and bright. Sometimes I’ll mix with spearmint for variety :)

Rating: This is my first experience with eucalyptus radiata so I wasn't sure what to expect, hen I first applied the oil to a scent strip I was surprised to smell the typical eucalyptus medicinal odor, but it had very slight nuances of lemon!! I wasn't sure if this was Normal for radiata, but I really enjoyed it. Another thing I noticed was when I started examination of the scent my left nostril was stuffed, and 2 minutes later it cleared right up!! I do prefer the globulus variety due to it's potency. All in all a good buy.

Rating: I recently purchased this eucalyptus radiate and called my visiting colleague over to experience the intriguing smell. We both agree on its amazingly gentle and cleansing effect on our nasal passages. I am ‘sold’ on New Directions version of eucalyptus radiate! This will be a favorite of mine for years to come.

Rating: Really helps open up the sinuses! Strong medicinal smell, but lighter than the Globulus.

Rating: The best mixed with Ravensara for the first signs of a cold, especially a chest cold. It can be mixed with aloe gel and massaged into the soles of your feet just before bed. It will loosen any congestion and help you breathe easier.

Rating: Of all the Eucalyptus, this one is the one I like best. I do use the Radiata a lot, but Globulus is still my favorite one. It opens up the sinus better and has a stronger smell to me. I also use it for sore muscles.
Rating: Strong medicinal oil with a very minty edge. It's fantastic for sinus congestion and colds---also very reputed for skin conditions and muscle aches.
Blends great with Star Anise, Lemon and Tea Tree--smells incredibly therapeutic... and it is. Less is more with this oil. I used, perhaps, 3 times more than I should have in a batch of CP soap; will definitely reduce the amount I use in the future. It's really strong, so a little definitely goes a long way!

Rating: I have found what some people say about this particular type of eucalyptus to be true. It is more effective with congestion than the globulus. I have a constant nasal drip which is common in the Ohio valley and even ENTs say they can't do anything about it.
So I run this one in my nebulizer as often as possible. It truly helps. Some say you should switch oils every 2 weeks or so, but seems like 4 weeks for me. I have also tried tea tree with sweet orange and that seems to work fairly well also.

Rating: Wow, this is really powerful stuff! The smell out of the bottle was so strong I could hardly stand it. But in MP soap mixed with Lavender and Peppermint it smells fantastic! And it's fabulous for stuffy noses and congestion. Also of note; all of the men that have sniffed this oil have loved it right away. The 16.6oz bottle is aluminum, which is great! No worries about too much sunlight or breaking a bottle. 5 Stars for Eucalyptus oil!

Rating: Love this stuff. I was coming down with a cold, with that tickle in the throat. Not wanting it to get worse, I decided to try some eucalyptus. I discovered through trial and error that the fragrance lasts much longer if you put a drop on a kleenex or handkerchief. I inhaled it a few times a day. The cold never got worse, as it usually does, and even got better. When I start getting that feeling, I put a drop on a kleenex and tuck it inside my shirt and the smell is with me most of the day. Love it.
Rating: When you place an order with New Directions, you can rest assured it will arrive in one piece. It took me fifteen minutes to get through the bubble wrap to get my first scent of this beautiful oil. We add a few drops to our congestion salve and we worried it might be over-powering. It's not. It's subtle and delightfully aromatic. We are more than satisfied with this product and will be sure to never let it run out. Thank's New Directions!

Rating: The smell of this wasn't what I was expecting, but it smells great, and obviously a high quality. I smells like disinfectant. My husband doesn't like it, but I love it. If you don't like the smell, grapefruit or lemon works wonderfully with this oil. It also is great for cleaning. When you are sick, it help clear your sinuses and helps your immune system.
