Color: Yellow to brownish yellow liquid.
Common Uses: Lemongrass Essential Oil is known for its invigorating and cleansing properties. It can be used in facial toners as its astringent properties may assist in reducing the look of oily or greasy skin. With its uplifting aroma, Lemongrass Essential Oil strengthens the senses and can be used in bath for soothing purposes. Lemongrass shares similar properties with citronella.
Aromatic Scent: Lemongrass Essential Oil has a fresh earthy, citrusy scent.
History: Traditional Indian medicine has used Lemongrass Essential Oil to treat infectious illness and fever.
Cautions: Avoid in glaucoma and with children. Use caution in prostatic hyperplasia and with skin hypersensitivity or damaged skin. Avoid use during pregnancy.
It is recommended that this essential oil be stored in dark amber, blue or green glass bottles since it has been found to dissolve aluminum bottles.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.

Rating: Oh my word I love this lemongrass essential oil. I ran out of it not long ago and I could not wait for my order to come, so I purchased another brand and I am so disappointed. Nobody does essential oils like NDA!
Rating: Wow this is a strong oil! The scent of this lemongrass it's so potent it has a very lemony earthy ground grassy smell. If you mix this in others blends be careful because it will overpower them, this scent is so piercing it's wonderful for cleansing a smelly environment because the smell of the lemongrass lingers for so long it works great to mask stinky odors.

Rating: I can't say enough about this oil!!!! I love the smell...lemony but with earthy undertones. Holds true in CP soap and easy to work with. It's strong and a little goes a long way.
Rating: How do you not love lemongrass? It's powerful, it smells precise - I use so much of this and it doesn't take much!! I love to share this oil with everyone since we live on a lake and in an area where insects are common..and it works great to repel!

Rating: Made some beautiful soap with this. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. The oil is very strong and actually takes less. Would be repurchasing

Rating: Smells beautiful! I made cp soap and the sent is so nice in it. Very affordable and this will be my first choice for all my scents.
Rating: In CP soap, this one is a no-fail for staying power. Sometimes I even have to use a lower percentage so it's not overpowering (particularly when I blend it with other oils).

Rating: This lemongrass smells true to what lemongrass EO should smell like, and sticks very well in CP Soap.
Rating: This Lemongrass EO Is spot on perfect. Some other brands (way more money) can have a "seaweedy" after smell that can turn the nose. Im happy to report, this one does not. Crisp and sharp in a pleasant way the LG is favored for. WHAT An Incredible PRICE for such quality. how do you do it NDA?

By:Jennifer, Moon Township, Pennsylvania Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 26-Oct-2010
Rating: Great, clean scent. Sticks in cp soap. Doesn't accelerate trace in my experience. My only qualm with this EO is it's almost too overpowering!
By:Ange, Woodland Park, Colorado Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 08-Jan-2015
Rating: I use this scent in one of my most popular CP soaps. Fresh and lemony with a good bit of earthy fresh cut grass undertones. Ladies love, love, love this one.
By:Aaron, La Grande, Oregon Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 19-Feb-2014
Rating: One of the best smelling Lemongrass EO's I have used. The scent last through the whole bar of CP soaps and has a very nice fresh, clean, earthy scent.
Rating: Lemongrass EO is such a beautiful scent, and this one does not disappoint.
I bought this for use in my handmade soaps, and it is really lovely. A little goes a long way, and anything made with lemongrass has become a new favourite for many of my friends and family.
I am very happy with this purchase, and will definitely look to buy it again in the future. :)
Thanks NDA for such wonderful EO's at reasonable prices!

Rating: I love this Lemongrass! Lemongrass masks up a multitude of "problem" smells in soaps...such as neem, ginger, cedarwood, etc. It won't completely eliminate the less wonderous scents, but will complement them and make the soap more pleasant to use. I would never be without lemongrass soaps in my cold processed soap business.
Thanks NDA for making this excellent oil at an excellent price available!

Rating: Really enjoyable. Blends well with ginger for candles. I also made a scrub using this blend and it sold really well. A little goes a long way. Great value.
Rating: I love citrus smells and although not a citrus it is a 'greener' version of Lemon EO. This Essential Oil holds up very well in Cold Process soap and is quite uplifting. I would definitely purchase this again!

Rating: This lemongrass is wonderful in cold process soaps! I only use essential oils in my soaps, so it's sometimes difficult to find oils that hold up through the saponification process that aren't too expensive. Lemongrass holds up wonderfully and it also gives your soap a nice yellow color. It's a wonderful fixative in soaps that contain citrus oils. One of my best selling soaps is a simple Lemongrass & Eucalyptus blend.

Rating: Essential part my my insect deterrent lotion. Blend 6 drops Lemongrass; 4 drops each of Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Geranium; and 2 drops Peppermint EO's; Mix with 5 tablespoons of lotion, aloe vera gel or carrier oil. The bugs stay away and my man enjoys the smell. Thanks ND for the great priced EO's!!!
Rating: I love this for when I want to wear something with a lemony scent without the photo toxicity. It has a green, fresh, clean, uplifting scent. I also add a few drops of this to a lot of my blends because even though you can't smell the lemongrass directly it just makes the whole blend smoother and cleaner and more uplifting. Definitely will be buying this oil again.

Rating: This oil is essential for my top selling Lemongrass Soap. I've tried a number of brands but this one excels!
By:Randi, Prince Frederick, Maryland
Date: Loyal Customer Since: 26-Jan-2011
Rating: Wasn't sure about this one, it didn't seem to stick very well in my cold process soap and besides, out of the bottle it just doesn't smell like lemongrass should smell (to me) this is very strong and it reminds me of the Murphy's Oil Soap..which I dislike. I was just hoping it would smell more like freshly crushed lemongrass from the garden.
By:Lisa, Pellston, Michigan Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 03-May-2008
Rating: This made a really nice CP soap. I was ready to add a bit of turmeric for a yellow tinge but it was a nice light yellow color with just the oil. The scent is a bit strong for bug repellent sprays and a little irritating to the skin unless diluted in oil rather than alcohol so for that I prefer lemon eucalyptus (China is the one I've tried from ND).
Rating: One of my favorite oils for CP soap. The uplifting, lemony scent appeals to a wide range of customers and it has the added bonus of repelling insects.
Rating: I put this eo in some lotion for mosquitoes, since I can't get near my plants without being attacked ,so far its working and I also put some in Neem oil a long with Eucalyptus eo to make the smell of Neem oil more bearable and smell is still there but not as bad as it was before add these eo's. I also added it to soap which made it smell so wonderful

Rating: This one is a treat to play / blend with! I love how it goes with other herbs (basil, rosemary, ginger) but you can take it other directions as well with citrus, cardomom etc.. It really has that subtle but true grass note to it. Real deal, true to its name. Good one ND. Thanks for the option of co2 or steam also!

Rating: i used this oil and some pink grapefruit and tangerine mixed with distilled water to make a refresher for my son's daily case of bed head. To my surprise and his glee, it makes his hair smell just like fruit loops cereal. His whole food diet does not include cereals like this so to him it is a real treat.

and if you need scent just add a few drops essential oils
Rating: Lemongrass is one the top sellers in my CP soap. Everyone loves the scent, with no exceptions! I grow my own lemongrass to put in with it which makes it even more special to my customers.

Rating: Lemongrass has a lovely sweet lemon smell, people have told me it smells like PEZ candy. It is also a powerful topical anti fungal and will kill athletes foot, ringworm, nail fungus etc when applied directly. It works so well, I am surprised this property is not mentioned in the product description. Beware though, because it stings!

Rating: Great quality oil at an affordable and competitive cost. I personally don't care for the scent of Lemongrass on its own--it's an oriental, earthy, citrusy scent that smells kind of funky to me. But I know people who do love and adore the smell, and the oil functions incredibly well to anchor citrus essential oils (particularly lemon and lime, both of which can be very volatile) in blends for CP soaps. If you want an anchor that's a little more mild for your citrus blends, try Litsea Cubeba or Patchouli Light.

Rating: I've purchased Lemongrass EO from other sources and must admit that NDA is by far the best scent. I love the pure and fresh lemon aroma without a 'chemically' scent. I will certainly be purchasing it from NDA again.

Rating: I use this Lemongrass EO in my bug off spray, hand scrub and in a few cleaning products I make just for me. As others have said - a little does go a long way. It is one of the most lovely and uplifting lemon scents around. I like to use it in a diffuser with a little thyme when someone isn't feeling well. Works great every time.

Rating: I purchased this and was delighted with the fresh lemony scent. Used it in a facial scrub and it smells just like a treatment you would get at an expensive spa. Looking forward to trying this in body lotion and massage oils. A great unisex fragrance . . . definitely a winner in my book!
Rating: We use this oil in our spa diffused in an oil burner and we get a lot of compliments about the great smell of the room. Highly recommend it!

Rating: I had been buying lemongrass EO from another company at $15 for a half ounce. I bought your 3.3 ounce bottle and can't tell the difference, I will be buying my oils from you in the future and saving money!
This oil smells just like fresh lemongrass, very fresh and lemony. It's great in candles, soap, and massage oil (it's helpful for carpal tunnel pain), and also repels insects, I mix it with lavender and peppermint to make a bug spray for my dairy goats.
Rating: This lemongrass eo smells very lemony with a touch of green. I mixed it with ginger eo, and when I have guests over and they want to sample smell my cp soap. They immediately ask about it. It stays nice and strong even when left out on the shelf for months. Very nice eo to have around. Can easily be used alone also in products.

Rating: I bought this one for its therapeutic value. Wonderful smell. I cannot wait to try it in my products. I also am looking forward to vapouring it in my premium ultrasonic nebulizer (which I bought from NDA) so that I can set it on dispersing the EO on intervals.

Rating: This e/o is super potent compared to other brands I've tried, and has a wonderful fresh lemony smell with a the perfect balance of green grass scent, that has made it one my most popular HP soaps. I've had reports back that it stops dandruff and dry scalp within days, excellent for using in soaps or shampoos on the hair!

Rating: Great strong summer scent!!! Did not need to be anchored as I had feared. Worked great in my insect repellent soap!
By:Kia, Montreal, Quebec Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 09-Nov-2005
Rating: Well, I just made a batch of cp soap with this oil for the first time, and I wish I had read the other reviews first... Let me say, that this eo has a gorgeous fragrance -- very lemony, and very sweet. However, I am afraid that I used too much of a good thing. I'm hoping once my soap cures for a few days and is cut up into bars, it will be less overpowering, but for now I'm worried that all my friends and family who are receiving this soap for Christmas are going to find it too strong... Oh well, what's done is done! Also, I put this in with lavender, and if I try hard enough, I can imagine the smell of lavender in there with the lemongrass. Yeah, it's totally overpowering!
By:Laura, Lakeville, Massachusetts Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 22-Mar-2009
Rating: Earthy, powerful, and exotic. Did I say powerful? A little goes a long way!
By:Amanda, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 23-Jan-2010
Rating: I previously posted that this scent was a bit too strong for me however after letting the body butter that I used it in sit for a few days, the scent is divine. It did overpower the lavender EO that I mixed it with but that isn't a big deal. I will just cut out the lavender. Scent lasts all day! I love it.

Rating: I use Lemongrass essential oil to perfume my Seaweed soap (about 3 Oz of it for a 5 pounds batch of soap) and the smell it very invigorating. You still smell the seaweed in the background but it is now compounding with the Lemongrass to give an attractive smell. Very nice smell. My family and customers love it.

Rating: I use this EO in shampoo, conditioner and in body lotion. It is a wonderful scent and a little goes a long long way. This EO mixed with lavender EO is now my signature scent in my store Beadle. Customers love it and it helps me sell the oils and scent balls. Only one word of caution you will want to buy a large bottle because it is highly addictive. _3
By:Cherie, Toronto, Ontario Top ReviewerDate: Loyal Customer Since: 09-Nov-2005
Rating: Hummm, I have purchased this eo from other suppliers and this one isn't quite as I had hoped. It has a middle note that I'm not sure I like. But as I have read from other reviewers it is suggested to dilute. So perhaps it will be more lovely then. I am optimistic! And with ND's prices I am overall pleased!

Rating: Deep, rich, lemony-sweet scent. I found it to be very strong in blends (it tends to overpower other scents, which I wasn't expecting since plain old lemon doesn't do that). Once I figured out to use it sparingly, I've found it great for insect repellant and air fresheners.
