Product Abstract: Though classified as a shrub, Myrrh can grow up to 30 feet in height. The trunk exudes a natural oleo resin that hardens into what is classified as reddish brown 'tears'. Local collectors make incisions into the trees in order to increase the yield. Called mo yao in China, it has been used since at least 600 BC. it was used for embalming and fumigation in Ancient Egypt, and it has been used for centuries as an ingredient in incense and perfume.

Rating: I use this myrrh in several blends that support healthy skin and hair, as well as one for anti-inflammation and another for pain relief. It is easier to use than the Indian resin, and is also has a little warmer and "heavier" notes. I've very happy with it, and will order more when this runs out. Thank you, NDA!

Rating: Sniffing out of the bottle I got a pure, powerful latex glove aroma. The light consistency makes it very easy to use. I will endeavor to find a place for it in a fragrance blend. Either way,a good oil to have in the scent library.

Rating: This is probably my #1 EO! I've tried this myrrh as well as the Indian one, and I definitely prefer this one. Egyptian myrrh's scent is stronger, warmer, and more memorable. The staying power can't be beat, so I use it in many of my perfumes as a fixative. Most people who've smelled it really like it, though oddly, some people find that it lends a licorice like smell to my mixtures, which I find odd, because I don't think it smells like anise at all. Interestingly, I have one bottle of this in which the oil has crystallized, so I added jojoba oil to it, and that worked fine. The oil in other bottle I have still has the oil-like consistency, so I find that interesting. Definitely a must have to round out perfumes and make them longer lasting!

Rating: Best smelling myrrh, very spicy. Surprisingly light liquid, very refined compared to other gloppy myrrhs. Worth the price if you want it for its scent and clarity - there are definitely cheaper versions out there. The stuff I got was not that dark.

Rating: This oil is fabulous! I burned myself with a ceramic curling iron a few days ago then made a balm using this oil. As soon as I applied it the burning stopped it didn't blister and it healed without the scab you usually get from a burn. This oil is a must have for any first aid kit.

Rating: I didnt order this from NDA direct but got it from a friend who ordered it here. This is an awesome resin & I love it totally. One drop works wonders. However you have to take the dropper out of the bottle (it's a resin) and get it out with a pipet then recap. It has a wonderful aroma. I blend it with the Frankincense Carteri which turns it into a liquid then put it on a diffuser. One day I will order the nebulizer so I can use it properly. I also used it with the frankincense in my neti pot during a horrible sinus infection and it really did help. I put a little in the bath as well and sleep like a stone. Frankincense and Myrrh are highly antiviral and antibacterial. Aron in the Bible stopped a plague in the camp of the Israelites by burning Myrrh and Frankincense in censors and going to all of their tents. You can find much information on these oils which shows their strength and power. I also just used this a few moments ago on another problem area and the pain immediately subsided. Soooooo, consult with your NA before doing this yourself. But these are wonderful HIGH GRADE theraputic oils and resins! This is why the wisemen gave Frankincense and Myrrh to Mary and Joseph for baby Jesus. It ensured his survival as a baby in such harsh conditions! Amen! and Thank you NDA! I'm currently working on my LSH ( Licensed Spiritual Healer Registration) and I use these oils instead of Young Living with great results :) They are good, and they are pure :) Thanks again guys!

Rating: Rich, sweetish scent. I just used it as part of a decongestant blend, and it smooths out the sharper scents of eucalyptus and bergamot.

Rating: I am very pleased with the quality of this Myrrh. I have tired a few others from other compaines and this is the best one yet.
To me it reminds me of my grandfather. Woody, a tad of camphor aroma, and calming.
