Orange Essential Oil is known as one of the freshest smelling, mood enhancing, and skin benefiting essential oils. The essential oil is obtained from the oil pockets found in the fruit’s peel. It is considered to be a warming oil and is a great addition to skin care and body care products. It can also used in diffused in the environment to elevate mood as it helps to bring about a sense of calm. Orange Essential Oil is also great to use in natural anti-bacterial cleaners as it leaves your home smelling fresh and clean.

Natural Blends are the most economical choice when incorporating a preferred scent to your product for a fraction of the price. Natural Blends are all natural constituents from different essential oils blended to mimic the scent of the orange itself. They are not therapeutic grade but are suitable for all natural product preparations and can be used to fragrance various cosmetic products.

Folded Essential Oils are obtained through fractional distillation in order to remove some of the terpene constituents which are more likely to oxidize quickly. Folded essential oils are mostly beneficial for use in soaps and candles to provide a stronger, longer lasting scent.

“Sweet Orange” or Citrus sinensis typically is not known to contain bergaptene, however independent lab testing should be done to ensure safety with regards to potential phototoxicity of the oil in products for daytime use. Orange Bitter Oil (Citrus aurantium) however is known to be somewhat phototoxic in nature, so appropriate dilution is necessary or avoiding use altogether for day-time use is recommended.
