Coco Glucoside is a non-ionic surfactant that can be used as a foaming, cleansing, conditioning, and viscosity building agent to liquid cleansers and shampoos. The raw materials used are of vegetable origin (coconut and palm kernel oil, glucose). It is completely biodegradable, GMO-free and contains no parabens and phthalates.
Please Note: There are no known food or fragrance allergens in this product due to the manner by which its ingredients were processed.
Appearance: Yellow to golden yellow cloudy, viscous, aqueous liquid.
Benefits: Coco Glucoside is mainly used to build viscosity and increase the foaming capacity of liquid soap in hair and skin-care products. It exhibits excellent cleansing characteristics on the skin and hair.
Application: Coco Glucoside is compatible with all skin types and is gentle on the skin and hair. It can be used in manufacturing a variety of cosmetic and skin-care products such as shampoos, conditioners, body washes, cleansers, hand soaps, body scrubs, acne treatments, facial moisturizers, hair dyes and baby products.
Recommended Usage:
Shampoo and Body Wash: 30% - 45%
Facial Cleanser or Baby Wash: 15% - 25%
Storage: This product can be stored in its original unopened containers at below 40° C for at least two years. It should not be stored at temperatures below 15° C or crystallization may occur. The product should be heated and stirred until uniform before use. Upon storage, some sedimentation can occur which has no negative effects on the quality. It is recommended to homogenize the product before use by stirring.
Caution: Corn sugar is an ingredient of this material, and should not be used by people with corn allergies.

Rating: I LOVE this natural surfactant! I was so excited to find this ingredient here at a great cost. It really is very gentle and to be honest you really don't need that much to get a good foaming result. I use this in my moisturizing shampoo and body wash and couldn't be happier. Please keep this ingredient in stock, I will be back for more!!!
Rating: I ordered this product for the purpose of making my own shampoo. I am still experimenting with my formula, but even if I'm not yet happy with the consistency or feel of my shampoo, the effects on my hair are amazing. Most natural shampoos are too drying to my hair - my experiments with this surfactant have not been drying at all, although long term use will be more illuminating.

Rating: I love this product! With all the other stuff on the market with sodium laurel sulfate, glycols, polysorbates etc.. WHY? Why would we use them when this is available? Its viscosity is (I would say medium) Not watery but not too thick. Using it in shower gel base, tiny bit in my surface cleaner, washing my hair with it tonight. Thanks ND!!! Great product.

Rating: Holy jeebus! LOVE this stuff! Did you know that lather was added to soap years ago simulator aesthetic reasons? People thought no lather meant it wasn't cleaning. Well, this gives both! Strait out of the bottle and not mixed with anything gives a very thick lather and leaves your skin silky soft. I now make the PERFECT shampoo bars now!

I will use it, eventually, as an all-around solution (that is: wash and shampoo in one), and I will still have much higher quality products than anything to be bought as a finished product.
