Rating: this product is incredible! i am a caretaker of a medically frail man, he deals with diabetes and all the skin issues that surround that. i made a butt paste with 1 tablespoon zinc oxide and 1 tablspoon protect ointment (the ones without lanolin or any other additives) mix this and cover the bottom wound full tissue thickness without bleeding. it took about 6 days to heal, wash off old ointment before apply new daily. another useful application for this powder. mix with talc to dust skin folds to minimize yeast growth. i love this powder, it is so useful. if you buy ointment with this as an additive 2 ounces can cost 6 dollars!

Rating: Is there a CoA or chart with particle size and distribution chart of from the product manufacturer?? It would be very useful. Thanks NDA!
Excellent Zinc powder, going to try this in the next batch so will update regarding oil phase soluability. In a pre-mixed lotion test sample it appeared to blend easily at lower concentrations, although with some grainy clumps the size of typical citric acid grains. These were easily broken down with application to the skin, so will take that into account and update if used in a full batch. Didn't appear to cause irritation upon skin testing. This is non-nano (under 100 microns), so feel safer using this in face products.

Rating: This zinc oxide is top notch. I've used it in lip balms and lotions with good success. It took a time or two to find the right balance for mixing the zinc into the oil part, (too much made it a little gritty, too little didn't provide much protection) but not that I have it for my recipes I'm very pleased - as are my customers!

Rating: This is a wonderful Zinc Oxide. I use it exclusively in all my sunscreens. Some have written that it is hard to mix in a lotion recipe. This is slightly true as it does not completely dissolve into my oil mixture. However, every finished project has an evenly distributed zinc with no grainy texture. Perhaps the zinc that is not completely dissolved is suspended during the thickening process. Perfect for my oily skin as it keeps the bumps away. Yay!

Rating: My friend insisted that this is the very best zinc out there. I yawned. Zinc is zinc. I was wrong. This is finely milled, creamy and makes my MMU really last and stick.
I use far less than with my old company and it keeps from whitening my powders too much. I think this is a fantastic buy and agree with my friends, it adds the right matte effect and while I cannot claim sunscreen help, it does seem to have some efficacy in that area.
I also use it in my acne powder, which is wonderful for oily skin. If I do say so, myself.

Rating: I don't have previous experience with zinc oxide, so I was very pleased that this one is incredibly user-friendly. I just made some great diaper rash cream with it and I'm psyched to try it in other applications as well. Thank you!
Rating: I use this in my mineral foundations and eye shadows! Has the nice smell that offers reassurance of a sunscreen scent.
Great stuff, goes a long ways!

Rating: Thanks for making this product so affordable!
I'm using it in my sun protecting lip balms and it's seemed to work great allready!
I only wish it were ground a little bit better so I didn't have to spend so long crushing it.
I bought three 2.2lb. zinc oxide bottles and that is going to last me a lifetime!
I hope I can return some though, I don't know if it goes bad after a certain amount of time...

Rating: Thank you, thank you, thank you NDA for offering Zinc Oxide at such an affordable price! I am planning to use this in conjunction with Titanium Dioxide and other natural ingredients in my natural sunscreen. No nasty parabens or chemicals in my skin care! Too bad NDA doesn't stock Titanium Dioxide... I have to buy mine from another e-store...

Rating: From the day I purchased it, I used it every day, day and night, both as natural sun protection and as natural foundation, too. It blends so naturally with my lotion that it brightens my skin tone yet doesn't make it look too white.
So functional, easy to use and so affodable, I love it!

Rating: I have been using this zinc oxide for years and find it to be a consistently reliable ingredient. It blends well in lotions and because it is micronized, doesn't leave a white residue on the skin. It's great!

Rating: This natural product is wonderful when added to your creams or lotions to make a UV protecting product. The zinc oxide dissolves easily in either warm oil or warm water or hydrosols. Depending on quantity added to your products the amount of protection will vary.
