DESCRIPTION

Our Oatmeal & Shea Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base combines two renowned skincare ingredients into one versatile base. Oatmeal contributes gentle exfoliation and a soothing feel, while Shea Butter provides rich moisturization and a creamy lather that supports skin nourishment.

This Shea Butter in this Soap Base creates an opaque and off-white color, with visible oatmeal flecks that enhance the appearance and tactile quality of the finished bar. It serves as an excellent foundation for custom Melt and Pour soaps, allowing for the addition of essential oils, colorants, and other natural additives without compromising consistency or performance.

With a balanced pH and superior melt stability, this base ensures consistent results across large-scale and small-batch productions. Free from animal-derived ingredients and synthetic detergents, it offers soap makers a clean, dependable starting point for premium soap products.

DIRECTIONS & SUGGESTED USAGE

  • Smooth Start for Soap Creation: Cut the Oatmeal & Shea Butter Melt and Pour Base into small cubes and heat gradually at 140°F to 160°F (60°C to 71°C) until fully melted. Avoid overheating to maintain the integrity of the Shea Butter and Oatmeal components.
  • Custom Formulation Tips: Once melted, incorporate desired essential oils, colorants, or botanical additives. Stir gently to avoid introducing air bubbles before pouring into molds. Allow the soap to cool completely before demolding.
  • Formulator’s Insight: A two-pound block can produce approximately 10–20 bars, depending on size and design. For best results, wrap finished soaps immediately after cooling to prevent moisture loss and shrinkage.
