Description: Jasmine Grandiflorum is a beautiful plant; its flowers bloom in the early dawn as opposed to Jasmine Sambac that blooms in the evening.
Color: Light reddish brown liquid.
Common Uses: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has a sensual, soothing fragrance that promotes a sense of harmony.
Consistency: Thin
Note: Middle
Strength of Aroma: Strong
Blends well with: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute generally works with all oils. It helps to round out scents, and tends to work particularly well with other aphrodisiac oils (Sandalwood and Ylang-ylang are two great examples)
Aromatic Scent: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute has a smooth, extremely intense floral smell that is both sweet and lingering.
History: Since ancient times, Jasmine has been referred to as the King of oils (Rose is the Queen). Apparently, this is because Jasmine is the most masculine of all the floral oils. It is also interesting to note that it takes 8,000 carefully hand-picked blossoms to produce 1 gram (about 1 ml.) of Jasmine Absolute.
Cautions: It is important to note that all absolutes are extremely concentrated by nature. They should not be evaluated in this state unless you are accustomed to the undiluted fragrance. For those trying Absolutes for the first time, we strongly recommend they be evaluated in dilution. Otherwise, the complexity of the fragrance - particularly the rare and exotic notes - becomes lost.
Storage: It is recommended that oils packaged in metal containers (for safe shipping) be transferred into dark glass containers to maintain freshness and attain maximum shelf life.
WARNING Prop 65: This product contains a component which is listed under California Proposition 65. California residents will receive this product labeled accordingly.

Rating: I bought both NDA's Sambac and Grandiflorum, and as was my experience with a different supplier in the past, the Grnadiflorum is my personal favorite. Don't get me wrong. Both a 5 stars. The Sambac is rich and complex, more fruity than floral, asks to be used with care and consideration to composition. Grandiflorum is a bit more straightforward as a jasmine in that it's more floral than fruity and more identifiable as jasmine to a nose who wouldn't otherwise know any batter. This Grandiflorum is sunny and bright, both formidable and delicate. I feel like the Sambac is a jasmine full of great contrasts; Grandiflorum also has these interesting contrasting notes, but to a lesser degree of variance -- it's no less complex than Sambac, but more accessible, I think, because the complexity is more understated. I feel like Grandoflorum is "fresh" and Sambac is "ripe" in terms of where each starts, but in the air, the sillage from both feels more similar than different -- that same unmistakable jasmine you smell walking past a whole bush of it. So I guess for, me the main difference is the starting point. This Grandiflorum is just heavenly... opening fruity freshness of green grapes or green pears, maybe a hint of apple, mellowing into a sweet floral note with just a tiny hint of indol that is more sour than rank... the heart of this scent though is surprisingly assertive, but only surprising because of the deep base-note type layer of a mellow, sexy, easygoing familiar type of jasmine that feels to me more grounded in the "idea of jasmine" compared to the Sambac, which feels to me a bit more like "jasmine's interpretation of itself." Don't get me wrong, I adore them both. I'm currently using a 5-to-1 ratio of Grandiflorum to Sambac in my personal perfume enhancing recipe. I should note that I only use this oil for personal perfume and some skincare, I don't make soap or cosmetics.

Rating: Incredible! I tried this at a 5% dilution from another site and it was heavenly, quite strong for small dilution and very very uplifting

Rating: Absolutely Gorgeous! And if you are a soaper, you only need a drop or two for several bars. I like to use the Non-Certified Organic Melt and Pour Soap Base and create my own floral blends. Rose Absolute (Maroc) goes so nice with this even for a perfume diluted in a bit of Jojoba oil (which NEVER goes rancid). From the first time I blended these together, I was soooo in Love with it!

Rating: I love Jasmine Sambac more than Jasmine Grandiflorum. Sambac is more sweet and Grandiflorum is more on the bitter side (if you compare it to Sambac). Both great depending what you will put them into or mix it with. But on its own, Sambac is like putting your nose right in the flower, its so lovely. I wish the 5ml was a bit cheaper since it is to try it out....if you compare to the 15 ml.

Rating: This is a great Jasmine Absolute at a very nice price. It smells just like the jasmines in my backyard. A supreme aphrodisiac. Also good for relieving stress, and as antidepressant.

Rating: This is the best smelling jasmine grandiflorum absolute around. I've purchased jasmine absolutes from many major eo companies, and this one smells the freshest and the most intricate. I have both the 3% dilution and the abolute. The 3% is great, because I can use it as a perfume oil right away, and the scent is smooth and welcoming.

Rating: Beautiful oil, but it made me feel lightheaded when I used too much of it once. It truly is a deeply relaxing oil.

Rating: I adore this jasmine grandiflorum! It is one of the very best jasmine g's I've ever encountered ~ very tenacious, heavy and cloying. I diluted this down to 30% and it retains its heaviness beautifully. The price is excellent for a product of this quality.

Rating: Very good quality meets fair price. If you've never used an absolute before take heed to use only the smallest amount as they are VERY strong. One drop can work wonders! Beautiful floral!
