Our Medium Chain Triglyceride - MCT 60/40 Oil is now derived from 100% Palm and is available at competitive wholesale prices and bulk sizes. Typically derived from Palm and/or Coconut origin depending on the season and availability, the Medium Chain Triglyceride - MCT 60/40 Oil does not go solid at room temperature. This oil stays liquid and clear. It is highly stable and resistant to oxidation for use in creams, lotions, and many other cosmetic preparations for skin and hair.  

The term Triglyceride refers to the number of carbon atoms in the fatty acids. Long-Chain Fatty Acids contain 13–21 carbons, Medium-Chain Fatty (MCT) Acids have 6-12 carbon atoms, and Short-Chain Fatty Acids have fewer than 6 carbon atoms. Because it is chemically indifferent to other cosmetic ingredients, it acts as a viscosity regulator and assists in the dispersion of pigments and other additives. Further, it penetrates the skin readily, thus acting as a carrier for essential oils and other therapeutic ingredients.

DIRECTIONS AND SUGGESTED USAGE FOR MEDIUM CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDE – MCT OIL (WHOLESALE AND BULK) 

• Skin Care Formulations: For facial serums and moisturizers, incorporate MCT 60/40 Oil into at a concentration of 3-5% for lightweight hydration. For body lotions and creams, add MCT 60/40 Oil to body lotions and creams at 5-10% to enhance emollience and improve shelf life. 

• Hair Care Products: For conditioners and hair masks, include MCT 60/40 Oil in hair conditioners and masks at 2-5% of the overall formulation. For scalp treatments, blend MCT 60/40 Oil into scalp treatments at 1-3% to soothe and moisturize the scalp.
