Discover the rich history and versatile uses of our wholesale and bulk sized Frankincense Essential Oil, sourced from the resin of the Boswellia serrata tree native to the Middle East. This hardy tree, characterized by its small stature and abundant foliage, produces a resin that has been prized for thousands of years for its fragrance and therapeutic properties.
The journey of Frankincense begins with the extraction of a milky-white resin from the tree's trunk. This resin is collected, dried, and distilled to create the prized Frankincense Essential Oil—a process that has been refined over centuries.
With a history dating back over 5,000 years, Frankincense has played a significant role in ancient cultures. It was used in ancient Egypt and was a part of religious ceremonies and rituals. Crusaders later brought it to Europe, where it became known as "Frank-incense."
Today, Frankincense Essential Oil remains highly valued in the perfume industry for its rich, resinous scent. It is also widely used in skincare products for its rejuvenating properties, as well as in aromatherapy to promote relaxation and mental clarity.
Experience the time-honored benefits of Frankincense Essential Oil in your formulations with our wholesale prices and bulk sizes. From skincare to aromatherapy, its versatility and long-standing reputation make it a staple ingredient with a rich heritage.
