This one is a bit softer than some Citronella oils. I use for outdoor blends with cedarwood, lemongrass, and geranium.

Not what I was expecting when I ordered citronella, but still pleasantly surprised. I now have both varieties. If you're looking for citronella-candle type aroma to chase off bugs, you want the Java citronella. This is much more subdued and has a pleasant mix of citrus and woody notes. I can see this going in men's cologne or shaving soap easily, perhaps blended with cedar or rosewood.

This Citronella is great in insect repellant blends or haircare. A very strong herbal lemony scent with woody undertones, it gives me an instant headache, but that is only because I am sensitive to the oil, no matter where it comes from. I blend it with cedarwood and/or other citrus oils and lavender and it's amazing. NDA has a great oil here.

I love this EO I was so surprised the first time I used in my lotion and went on my patio and it kept the annoying mosquitoes away and I don't dare get anywhere near my backyard without. I have a very sensitive skin this keeps the mosquitoes away which means less scratching. Thank NDA love the fact that it works and its reasonably priced.

Very pleased with this FO - light and refreshing - I used it in candles - seems to work to repel bugs. Most candles ive notice contain only about 1% citronella. No wonder they dont work. Great plus - will order again. Thanks!

the combination of citronella and cedarwood has been very effective in my are. It has proven to be the best insect repellent anywhere. However, BEWARE!!! Adding straight tap water to the combination nullifies it's effectiveness. Other than that_ it REALLY works the BOMB!!!!

I would highly recommend this Citronella both for quality as well as for the price point. The strong heady aroma not only works exceptionally well with insect repellant products but as many other uses.

You've probably heard of this great insect repellent. I use it in my Bug-Off blend as well, this one is high quality and priced right. Here are some other uses: for cold, excessive perspiration, fatigue, 'flu, headache, insect repellent, migraine, minor infections, neuralgia, oily skin. (Also known as Andropogon nardus, Lenabatu Citronella, Sri Lanka Citronella.) The essential oil is also produced on a large scale in Java as the Maha Pengiri Citronella, Cymbopogon winterianus type. Great price and great quality, highly recommended.
